Just when we thought the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim might be delayed, it appears to be closer to reality. The phone has been spotted running the first test builds of One UI 7 on a server. It will be Samsung’s thinnest phone in the S25 lineup and will likely make its appearance alongside the others at the Galaxy Unpacked Event.

Tipster Tarun Vats spotted the Galaxy S25 Slim on CheckFirm. The phone was found running its first One UI 7 test build with versions S937BXXU0AYA5, S937BOXM0AYA5, and S937BXXU0AYA5. Here, S937B is the model number for the S25 Slim, which complements the other phones in the lineup: the Galaxy S25 (SM-S931B), S25+ (SM-S936B), and S25 Ultra (SM-S938B).
We were already aware of the S25 Slim’s model number through Geekbench scores and the GSMA IMEI database, which leaked earlier. An earlier leak also suggested the phone would be released globally. However, this new leak confirms its potential availability across different markets.
Notably, the One UI 7 build for the Galaxy S25 Slim would arrive for India, Europe, the UAE, and other Asian regions, further supporting the likelihood of a global launch. This means these countries are almost certainly confirmed to be getting the phone.
Bragging about its slimness as one of its key highlights and competing with the long-rumored iPhone 17 Air, the Galaxy S25 Slim will have a thickness of 6.4mm without the camera module and about 8.3mm with it. For comparison, the S25 Ultra is said to have a thickness of 8.2mm without counting in the camera module.
The phone was previously spotted running the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. It will reportedly use a new 200MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a telephoto sensor with 3.5x optical zoom.
Samsung may use All Lenses on Prism (ALoP) technology, which places the lenses directly on the prism rather than between the prism and the sensor, on the telephoto lens to keep the camera bump thinner. Expect One UI 7 based on the latest Android 15 with 7 years of software updates.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim will likely be teased at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 scheduled for January 22nd. However, it may arrive a bit later, possibly in May 2025.
