In Garden Horizons, understanding how the weather works is important, especially if you want to become a master farmer. Just like in real life, weather affects how your plants grow and which fruit mutations you can obtain. By learning how each weather event works, you can plan your farming more efficiently and earn much more from your crops. Here’s everything you need to know about Garden Horizons weather events.

Garden Horizons Weather Events Guide

How Weather Events Work in Garden Horizons

Weather events happen automatically for everyone on the server. You cannot control them or force a specific one to happen. When a weather event is active, it can give your fruits special mutations and sometimes even speed up how fast your plants grow.

The key thing to remember is that the weather is linked to the Seed Shop restock timer, which resets every five minutes. Each time the shop restocks, the weather might change, or it might stay the same. There’s no guarantee either way, so you just have to keep an eye on the timer.

When a weather event is active, you can check the icon on the bottom right of your screen. It can do two things. First, it might speed up how fast your plants grow. Second, it can give your fruits special mutations, which usually make them worth more when you sell them.

Which Weather Event Is the Best?

If your main goal is to grow plants as fast as possible, Storm is the one you want. It gives you +50% Growth Speed, which is double what Rain gives and more than double what Sandstorm gives.

However, if you want to get mutated plants with the biggest multipliers, of course, theBeam Clash is the best one. You can get a chance of having Salad or Banned mutations, each with a 20x multiplier! They will definitely make you rich fast.

Garden Horizons Weather Reset Times

The weather resets on the same five-minute timer as the Seed Shop. But here’s the important part: a shop restock doesn’t always mean the weather changes. The same weather can continue for another five minutes even after the shop refreshes.

This means Storm could last ten minutes or more if it keeps rolling over. On the flip side, it could also change right away after a restock. The best thing you can do is start planting the moment a Storm begins. That way, you get the full five minutes of +50% growth speed.
