Genshin Impact’s upcoming 6.0 update will mark the beginning of the Nod-Krai arc in the storyline. Ahead of their official announcement, prominent leaker Genshin Leakflow has disclosed the names and effects of the two new artifact sets expected to be introduced in the 6.0 update. Leaks Indicate Genshin Impact 6.0 Artifact Set Effects Tied to Lunar Reactions
It is speculated that the Nod-Krai characters in Genshin Impact will be able to use Lunar reactions. The upcoming 5-star character, Ineffa, is expected to use an upgraded variant of the Electro-Charged reaction, called Lunar Electro-Charged. This reaction is likely to work a bit differently than its normal variant and deal significantly more damage.
Considering that the three Moons of Teyvat seem to be a focal point of Nod-Krai’s lore, it is natural for the developer to introduce new Moon-themed gameplay mechanics. According to Genshin Leakflow, the two new Genshin Impact artifact sets for version 6.0 will cater to Lunar elemental reactions. 1. Crescent Moon Transformation
- 2-Piece: Provides the user with 35 Elemental Mastery. Offers another 60 Elemental Mastery for 24 seconds after triggering a Lunar elemental reaction.
- 4-Piece: After the user triggers a Lunar elemental reaction, increases Crit Rate by 8% and Crit DMG by 16% for 24 seconds. This effect increases by 75% when the New Moon rises.
The Crescent Moon Transformation artifact set is speculated to be an artifact set meant for Nod-Krai damage dealers. It buffs its user’s EM via the two-piece effect, while its four-piece effect increases Crit Rate and Crit DMG. Furthermore, it also seems to be influenced by an upcoming gameplay mechanic called the New Moon.
2. Moon Splitting
- 2-Piece: Increases Energy Recharge for the element by 25% for 24 seconds after triggering a Lunar elemental reaction.
- 4-Piece: When party members trigger Lunar reactions, it provides the user with 1 Convergent Moon stack that lasts 16 seconds. Each stack offers 4% Energy Recharge, and a maximum of three can be obtained. When the user has three stacks of Convergent Moon, the entire party’s Elemental Mastery increases by 100. This effect increases by 50% when the New Moon rises.
The Moon Splitting artifact set is expected to be set meant for support characters. It is capable of buffing its wielder’s Energy Recharge significantly and increasing all teammates’ EM, which further improves their damage. Similar to the other set, this one also has its effects buffed when the New Moon rises.
