Aino is the latest Nod-Krai character in Genshin Impact. While her Elemental Skill isn’t anything special and is only useful to generate Energy, her Elemental Burst is quite amazing and enables her to be a reliable Sub-DPS. It summons the Cool Your Jets Ducky to the field that deals Hydro damage at certain intervals within a fixed AoE. This ability has 100% uptime and low Energy Cost, making it a reliable source of off-field Hydro application. Moreover, the Cool Your Jets Ducky’s attack duration reduces when there is another Nod-Krai character on Aino’s team.
Overall, just by maintaining Aino’s Elemental Burst, you can get good value out of her in Lunar-Charged and Lunar-Bloom teams.
How to Play Aino
Here’s how to play Aino in your teams:
- Upon taking the field, use Aino’s Elemental Skill to dash toward the enemy and generate Hydro Energy.
- Follow it up with her Elemental Burst to summon the Cool Your Jets Ducky.
- Then, switch to your Main DPS to trigger Lunar reactions.
Should you pull Aino?
Yes, it is worth it to summon and build Aino, especially if you require a reliable Sub-DPS for Nod-Krai characters. She can pair with all new characters from the region, like Ineffa, Lauma, and Flins, to efficiently trigger Lunar reactions. You should also note that you can get Aino for free by partaking in the Luna I Archon Quests.
