The Bell of Mourning Echoes in Genshin Impact is a brand-new Nod-Krai World Quest introduced in the Luna I update. It doesn’t show up on the world map by default and requires you to find some items in the open world to initiate it. By completing this quest, you can unlock the Sigurd Local Legend and obtain several rewards, including Primogems. How to Begin The Bell of Mourning Echoes Quest in Genshin Impact
To start The Bell of Mourning Echoes quest in Genshin Impact, you must first find the following three Relics on Lempo Isle that belonged to the Sigurd Local Legend:
- Undying One’s Mourning Bell
- A Horn Unwinded
- Dyed Tassel
Once you have collected each Relic, the quest will automatically begin. However, this is easier said than done if you have no clue about where to find the items. Fret not, the following section covers the location of each one of Sigurd’s Relics, but do note that you will have to engage in some difficult battles to obtain them, so be prepared.
1. Undying One’s Mourning Bell Location
To get the Undying One’s Mourning Bell Relic, head over to the northwestern part of the Starsand Shore on Lemp Isle. As soon as you arrive at the location marked on the above map, you will come across a Tideseal Stone. Moreover, there will be Wild Hunt enemies surrounding it, with Sigurd fighting against them. Aid him in defeating all the enemies. You should note that the Tideseal Stone gets charged a few times during the battle, and you can use it against the Wild Hunt enemies within a fixed AoE.
After you have won the battle against the Wild Hunt, you will automatically receive the Undying One’s Mourning Bell Relic as a reward, along with a Precious Chest.
2. A Horn Unwinded Location
A Horn Unwinded is the second Relic you must find to begin The Bell of Mourning Echoes quest in Genshin Impact. Just like the previous instance, you must locate a Tideseal Stone on Lempo Isle and help Sigurd in defeating the Wild Hunt enemies surrounding it. This time around, you can find the Tideseal Stone on the coast of the smaller land mass west of Clink-Clank Krumkake Craftshop. Just go to the location marked on the above map and defeat all enemies to get the Relic and an Exquisite Chest.
3. Dyed Tassel Location
Dyed Tassel is the last Relic you must collect for this mission. To get it, go to the Teleport Waypoint west of Barrowmoss Barrens and head north towards the coast. You will soon come across the Tideseal Stone at the location marked on the map above. Just like before, clear all the Wild Hunt enemies to simply claim the Dyed Tassel Relic along with a Precious Chest.
After you have collected all three Relics, Paimon will tell you that Sigurd seemed like a Lightkeeper, and we should talk to the Lightkeepers in Nasha Town to know more about him. This will automatically mark the beginning of The Bell of Mourning Echoes quest in Genshin Impact.
How to Complete The Bell of Mourning Echoes Quest in Genshin Impact
Once you have all the Relics, teleport to the Teleport Waypoint on top of the Curatorium of Secrets in Nasha Town. Then slowly glide down from there toward the southwest to find some Lightkeepers at the marked location. Here you will come across two NPCs, named Lushne and Sukhovykh, who will inform you that the Relics belong to Sigurd, who was a Lightkeeper and had passed away. They will then request you to take the Relics to his grave.
You can find Sigurd’s grave on the eastern coast of Barrowmoss Barrens, as shown on the above map. All you must do now to complete the quest is go to the location and interact with the gravestone, and submit the three Relics. Once you do that, the quest will be complete. Afterward, you can interact with the gravestone again to begin the Sigurd Valiant Chronicles challenge and battle him.

Genshin Impact: The Bell of Mourning Echoes Quest Rewards
Upon completing The Bell of Mourning Echoes quest, you can receive the following rewards:
- 30 x Primogems
- 250 x Adventure EXP
- 2 x Hero’s Wit
- 3 x Mystic enhancement Ore
- 22,500 x Mora
Additionally, you will also receive a special achievement called ‘Pro aris et focis’ worth five Primogems for clearing the quest.
