Google Pixel 10 design revealed ahead of launch

Google Pixel 10 Teased With New Color And Triple Camera Setup

In a teaser video posted on the Google Store, the number “10” transforms into a silhouette of the back of the phone. We can see a familiar design with the iconic pill-shaped camera bar at the back.

Although there is one major change this time, as the base model comes with a triple camera setup. Apart from the primary and ultrawide-angle lenses, there will also be a telephoto sensor.

Another change is the new color teased in the video, likely to be Jade or Moonstone. Leaked renders show other colors include Obsidian, Indigo, Frost, Porcelain, and Limoncello.

Expected Specifications

The upcoming Google Pixel 10 will get a slightly bigger and brighter screen. It will measure 6.3 inches and have a peak brightness of 3000 nits, up from 2700 nits. Furthermore, you also get Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for protection.

It will have a 48MP primary, 12MP ultrawide, and a 10.8MP telephoto lens. Interestingly, the primary sensor will be a downgrade since it’s the same as the Pixel 9A, while the telephoto one will be the same as the 9 Pro Fold.

Although given Google’s computational photography prowess, we can expect some great camera optimization behind the scenes. The reason why Google is downgrading the cameras on the base model is to differentiate between the base and Pro variants.

Another major change is the Tensor G5 chipset based on a 3nm processor. This time, it’s switching to a 3nm by TSMC paired with 12GB RAM and either 128/256GB of storage.

The battery is also getting a slight increase at 4,970mAh with 29W wired and 15W wireless charging speeds. Although to cut down on costs, the Pixel 10 won’t have Wi-Fi 7 and will miss out on some other features.

Other Expected Products And Launch Offers

The Pixel 10 lineup will launch on August 20 at the Made by Google event. It will be available for pre-order on the same date, while shipping will begin a week later on August 28, 2025.

The company has also revealed that the Pixel 10 Pro will debut on August 21 on the Pixel Store. Moreover, Google Store subscribers who have signed up before August 19 will get exclusive offers on the Pixel 10 series.

This offer will be available on the day the phones become available for pre-order. Google is expected to reveal the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold at the event. We can also expect the Pixel Watch 4 and the Pixel Buds 2a.
