- Google Pixel 10a and 11 are in the works and a leaked document reveals their (bear) names.
- Pixel 11 lineup will have 4 smartphones. One of them would be a foldable.
- The codenames for Pixel 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro XL are cubs, grizzly, and kodiak respectively while codenames for Pixel 11 Pro Fold and Pixel 10a are yogi and stallion.

Google doesn’t know how to keep a secret or maybe it is a marketing trick. Either way, Pixel 11 leaks have started rolling out even as Google is preparing to launch Pixel 10 soon. Leaks have now started pouring for 2 generations in advance. Both Pixel 10a and 11 will launch sometime in 2026.
According to Android Authority, here are the names of the upcoming Pixel 11 series and Pixel 10a:
- Pixel 10a – stallion (STA5)
- Pixel 11 – cubs (4CS4)
- Pixel 11 Pro – grizzly (CGY4)
- Pixel 11 Pro XL – kodiak (PKK4)
- Pixel 11 Pro Fold – yogi (9YI4)
As was the case with previous Pixel smartphones, Pixel 11 series and Pixel 10a have animal-themed names. For better or worse, all Pixel devices will be powered by Tensor G6 which will be developed in-house by Google. The Tensor G series chips have been riddled with heat and performance issues for the longest time. We tested the G4-powered Pixel 9 series in-house and the results were decent. The phone performed well, however, faced heating issues while heavy gaming and video editing tasks were performed.
Hopefully, Google will further refine the chipset to fix these issues with the G6 (codenamed Malibu). The Pixel 10 series, including 10a, will be powered by Tensor G5 but there are talks of using G4 in Pixel 10a to keep costs low. This would be a first since Google usually puts the same chip in both flagship and midrange phones.

Expect more AI features in the upcoming Pixel 10 and 11 series. Some of them include advanced camera and image/video editing features, AoD or always-on-display features powered by ML (machine learning). and more. There are also several health-focused features in the work but details are scarce at this point.
