The Digging Quest is a new mechanic added in the second part of the Ghoul Garden Halloween event in Grow a Garden. It lets you dig up hidden treasures underground for exclusive Halloween rewards, including pets, gear, and rare items. How the Digging System Works
The Gravedigging mechanic, also called the Grave Digger Event, allows you to excavate buried items during special timed events. Here’s how it works:
Event Schedule:
- The Grave Digger event appears beside the Dead Tree NPC every 2 hours
- Each event lasts for 30 minutes
- You can only dig during this 30-minute window
Dig Limits:
- You start with a maximum of 10 chances to dig
- You get a free bonus chance every 5 minutes during the event
- Bonus chances won’t stack above the maximum of 10
- Once you run out of chances, you can restock them for 59 Robux
How It Works: When you interact with the Scream-ven NPC at the Grave Digger event area, you’ll see a 5×5 grid of 25 squares with skeleton hands. You select squares to dig up, and if there’s a reward underneath, you’ll see it. If you see a fraction of a reward, select the adjacent square in the direction where the rest of the reward might be to complete it.

How to Complete the Digging Quest
- Step 1: Wait for the Event: The Grave Digger event appears on the right side of the Dead Tree NPC every 2 hours.
- Step 2: Find Digging Spots: When you arrive at the event area, you’ll see the Scream-ven NPC standing on a circular dirt surface. Press ‘E’ to interact with him.
- Step 3: Use Your Digs: Choose the first dialogue option that says “Let’s go grave digging.” A 5×5 grid of 25 squares with skeleton hands will appear on your screen. Click on a square that you think has a reward underneath.
Is the Digging Quest Worth It?
The Grave Digger Event is definitely worth participating in since it’s completely free to play during the 30-minute windows. With a 20% chance for Spooky Eggs and decent odds for other useful items, you’ll get good rewards just from your 10 free chances plus the bonus chances you get every 5 minutes.
