The Honkai Star Rail 3.5 update will introduce a new 5-star character in Hysilens. She is one of the Chrysos Heirs from Amphoreus and hails from Styxia. Honkai Star Rail Drip Marketing Reveals Hysilens for Version 3.5
HoYoverse has started a drip marketing campaign for the upcoming characters debuting in Honkai Star Rail’s version 3.5. The first character to be revealed is Hysilens, one of the Chrysos Heirs. She appears to be a black-haired girl clad in a black, violet, and lilac colored outfit.
Here is what HoYoverse shared about Hysilens in the official drip marketing post:

- Combat Type: Physical
- Combat Path: Nihility
- Affiliated City-States: Styxia, Okhema
- Divine Authority: Chalice of Plenty, Phagousa
Hysilens will be a playable 5-star unit from the Path of Nihility who deals Physical damage. She was born in Styxia in Amphoreus as Helektra, Daughter of the Seas. In the narrative, she is the Chrysos Heir who cleanses Ocean’s Coreflame, dispels murky currents, and organizes feasts for heroes beyond the sky.

“Helektra? That name has long since sunk into the depths of the past… Ah, it’s you, little gray fry. Call me Hysilens. I am the Knight Commander of the holy city, and I will remain on watch — I will not let the storms of fate cloud your eyes.”
It is speculated that Hysilens isn’t currently alive in the storyline and passed away before the events of the game. Players will have to wait and see how the story unfolds, which leads to her becoming playable.

Hysilens Voice Actors in Honkai Star Rail 3.5
HoYoverse has announced the voice actors who will lend their voices to Hysilens in the various dubs of the game. Let’s look at all of them:
- VA for the Japanese dub: Manaka Iwami
- VA for the Chinese dub: Fumeng Ryowei
- VA for the Korean dub: Oh Eun-soo
Manaka Iwami has lent her voice to several notable characters in anime and games. Fans may find it interesting that she is the VA for Amber in Genshin Impact’s JP dub.
As for Fumeng Ryowei, she has also worked on HSR’s sister games, Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd. She voices Yumemizuki Mizuki in the CN dub of the former title, and portrays Cecilia Schariac in the latter.
Lastly, Oh Eun-soo is quite popular in the Korean voice acting industry and has dubbed characters like Yozakura Kirara from Blue Archive.
Honkai Star Rail Hysilens Speculated Release Dates
HoYoverse follows a fixed 42-day cycle for patch updates. Based on that, it is speculated that HSR version 3.5 may go live on August 13, 2025. Depending on whether Hysilens debuts in the first or second half of the update, here are her possible release dates:
- First half: August 13, 2025
- Second half: September 2, 2025
