The native gallery apps on Android and iPhone do not offer the ability to add a birthday cap to a picture. However, you can do it using third-party apps. You can use the popular PicsArt app as shown below:

1. Download and open the PicsArt app on your Android phone or iPhone.

2. Tap on the Add (+) icon at the bottom and select Edit a Photo.

3. Select the photo to which you want to add a birthday cap.

4. Once the picture shows up in the photo editor, tap on the Sticker option from the list of tools at the bottom.

5. Tap on the Search icon at the top and type birthday or crown.

6. You will see all the stickers related to birthdays like birthday caps, cakes, balloons, etc. Tap on the cap sticker and put it in the desired place on your photo by dragging it. You can change the size of the birthday cap or rotate it using the icons present on the cap’s border.

7. Once done, tap on the Checkmark icon at the top and press the Download icon on the next screen to save the picture with the birthday hat on your Android phone.

Add Birthday Cap to Picture on Samsung Galaxy Phones

The Samsung Gallery app offers a native feature to add a birthday hat to your photo using stickers. You can do it via the Party sticker pack or by using a custom cap sticker. Additionally, you can also use third-party apps as shown above to add a birthday cap to your picture.

Method 1: Using Party Sticker Pack in Samsung Gallery

1. Launch the Samsung Gallery app on your phone and open the photo on which you have to add a birthday picture.

2. Tap on the Pencil (Edit) icon at the bottom and press the Emoji icon.

3. Tap on Stickers. Now, first, check the available stickers and see if you find a birthday cap in them. If present, tap on the birthday cap to add it to your photo, alternatively, jump to the next step.

4. If you don’t find it, tap on the (+) icon and tap on Party time stickers.

5. Press the Download button on the next screen to install the sticker pack.

6. Once installed, you will find the Party sticker pack in the list of packs at the bottom. Tap on it and press the Birthday cap sticker to add it to your picture.

7. Move the sticker by dragging it to the person’s head.

9. Finally, tap on Save to download the picture on your phone.

Method 2: Using Custom Sticker

In this method, you need to download a photo of a birthday cap sticker from Google on your phone. Then, add this sticker to your photo using the Samsung Gallery app as shown below:

1. Using Google search, download a picture of a birthday cap in PNG format on your phone.

2. Open the photo on which you want to add the birthday cap in the Samsung Gallery app.

3. Tap on the Edit (pencil) icon followed by the Emoji icon.

4. Tap on Stickers and press the Gallery icon.

5. Tap on Add (+) icon in the Gallery section and select the birthday cap picture that you downloaded in Step 1.

6. The Samsung Gallery app will offer to remove the background. Make the necessary changes if required and press the Next button.

7. Move the birthday cap to an appropriate position on your photo. Tap on Save to download the image.

If you don’t want to download an app on your phone, you can add birthday stickers like caps, cakes, crowns, etc., to photos using free online tools.

Follow these steps to add a birthday hat to a picture online:

1. Open www.img2go.com/photo-editor in a browser on your mobile phone or PC.

2. Tap or click on the Choose File button and select the picture on which you want to put the birthday cap.

3. The image will open in the editor. Tap on the Stickers option at the top.
