1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

2. Scroll down and tap on Siri & Search.

3. Now tap on Announce Calls.

4. Tap on Always if you want the call to be announced always. You can also choose “Headphones Only” or “Headphones & Car” to announce the caller’s name when it is connected to your car or your AirPods or any other headphones.

Enable Announce Notifications on iPhone

Just like announcing a caller’s name, you can also announce notifications on your iPhone. Here are the steps to do so.

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

2. Scroll down and tap on Accessibility.

3. On the Accessibility page scroll to the General section and tap on Siri.

4. Now enable the toggle named Announce Notifications on Speaker.

5. Tap on Announce Notifications that just appeared after enabling the option.

6. Scroll and tap on the App whose notification you want to be announced. For example, I’m tapping on Instagram.

7. Enable Announce Notifications. Now all the notifications from that app will be announced.

If you don’t like this feature and want to get rid of this, go to Settings > Siri & Search > Announce Calls > Never.
