Marvel Rivals Season 2 is here, and unlike Midnight Features and Midnight Features 2, this season comes with a new X-Men-themed event called Cerebro Database. If you want to get the free Flora Maiden skin for Mantis and other rewards, this guide will help you do it quickly. We’ll show you how to complete the Cerebro Database event in Marvel Rivals, without wasting time on unnecessary missions.

What is the Cerebro Database Event in Marvel Rivals?
The Cerebro Database event is Season 2’s main seasonal event running from April 11th to May 9th, 2025. Unlike previous events that required completing all missions, Cerebro Database features a unique 3×3 grid system for each challenge page. The event consists of four character-themed challenge sections:
- Emma Frost (Available now)
- Wolverine – April 15th, 2025
- Black Panther – April 18th, 2025
- Namor – April 22nd, 2025

To progress through the event and earn rewards, you need to complete missions that form straight lines on each challenge grid – either row, column, or diagonal. Think of it like a bingo game!
How to Complete the Cerebro Database Event in Marvel Rivals
The beauty of the Cerebro Database event’s design is that you don’t need to complete every single mission to earn the rewards. You only need to complete three straight lines on each character’s challenge board.
1. Emma Frost Challenge Board

Fastest Line to Complete: Horizontal top row
Mission | Objective |
---|---|
Mission 1 | Defeat 60 enemies in Quick Match, Competitive, or Practice vs AI |
Mission 2 | View Challenge 1 during the event period |
Mission 3 | Complete 5 matches in Quick Match, Competitive, or Practice vs AI |
This line is recommended because Mission 2 completes instantly just by viewing it, and the other two missions will happen naturally as you play the game.
Alternative Easy Line: Vertical left column
Mission | Objective |
---|---|
Mission 1 | Defeat 60 enemies in Quick Match, Competitive, or Practice vs AI |
Mission 4 | Deal 10,000 Damage as Emma Frost in Quick Match, Competitive, or Practice vs AI |
Mission 7 | Secure 40 Assists in Quick Match, Competitive, or Practice vs AI |
Completing lines on the Emma Frost board earns you:
Lines Completed | Reward |
---|---|
1 Line | ![]() Chrono Tokens x100 |
2 Lines | ![]() Emma Frost Spray |
3 Lines | ![]() ![]() “Impending Doom” Gallery Card and Units x75 |
2. Wolverine Challenge Board (Coming Soon)

Please check back on April 15th, 2025.
3. Black Panther Challenge Board (Coming Soon)
Please check back on April 18th, 2025.
4. Namor Challenge Board (Coming Soon)
Please check back on April 22nd, 2025.

What Rewards You’ll Earn from the Cerebro Database Event
The biggest prize for completing the Cerebro Database event is the free Epic-tier Flora Maiden skin for Mantis. This nature-themed cosmetic is one of the best free skins we’ve seen in Marvel Rivals so far, featuring Mantis with gorgeous plant-based visual effects. Additional rewards include Sprays, Battle Pass Chrono Tokens, Units, and Gallery Cards.
If you want to finish and complete the Cerebro Database event faster, here is my advice:
- Do the easy tasks first. Missions like “View lore” or “View challenge” will finish instantly. Get them out of the way quickly.
- Play as you normally would. Missions like “Defeat enemies” or “Complete matches” will progress just by playing the game.
- You don’t have to play characters you’re not good with, just stick to the heroes you like—most missions can be done without switching.
- If you need to land specific abilities (like Emma Frost’s stun), just use Practice VS. AI. This mode is the easiest way to do it.
Unlike some events that require premium currency or Battle Pass purchases, Cerebro Database gives you a chance to earn an Epic-tier skin completely free. The mission structure is also forgiving and pretty easy because you only need to complete 3 lines per board rather than all 9 missions. Even casual players should be able to complete enough easy missions to earn the Flora Maiden skin before the event ends on May 9th, 2025.
Remember to keep an eye out for the Wolverine, Black Panther, and Namor challenge boards in the coming weeks. We’ll update this guide with the most efficient missions to complete once they’re available. Happy hunting in the Cerebro Database, and I will see you in the Hellfire Gala!
