In the time where people are using Google Meet from Online Classes, conducting quizzes on Meet itself is something many people are looking for. While there is no native option to do that, you can still conduct quizzes with third-party extensions.
But two things to remember are that everyone needs to install the extension to play the quiz and you cannot play from the mobile app. That said, here’s how you can conduct quizzes on the Google Meet

How do you give a test on Google Classroom?
First, install the extension called Quiz Master (Quinzel) from the Chrome web store. Also, make sure all the students or your friends who are attending the meet also installed the extension.
Now open the Google Meet and start the meeting. Here you can find a new option with a dice icon at the top-right corner. Click on it.
It will open a side menu where you can find all the people who have installed the extension and can play with you. If you are hosting the quiz, enable the toggle “Become quiz master”. Everyone can find the quizmaster as it shows the crown icon beside their name.
Once done, the quizmaster can either select the option “Question” or “Type a Question”. Selecting the “question” option will provide a random trivia question. Selecting Type a Question will provide you the option to type a question.
Once done, click on the “Start question” button.
Everyone in the meet can click on the “Answer” button if they know the answer.
The extension will record the fastest click and highlights their name with a green label. They can answer the question in the video call just like normal.
If they have answered correctly, you can click on the checkmark button which ads the point to the player, or else you can click on the wrong button which decreases the point. Once done with the question, just click on the “End question” button to start a new question.
You can go for as many questions as you want. By the end of the quiz, you can checkout points for each player besides their names.
