How to Find and Rescue Dino Kid
The Dino Kid will be your first rescue mission. You can start looking for this kid right away, but you need to upgrade your campfire to level 3 first. Without this upgrade, you won’t be able to reach the cave location.
Once your fire is big enough, you can follow the arrow on your screen. You will find a small hill with a metal gate, plus wolves with red collars surrounding this area. You need to fight them, so make sure you have a weapon ready. Check nearby chests for a revolver or spear. You can also trade with the Pelt Trader on the second day, if you have animal pelts.
When fighting the wolves, aim for headshots. They do way more damage than body shots. After you kill all five wolves, one of them will drop a red key. Before rescuing the final two kids, your campfire needs to reach level 5. This will unlock the entire map and let you reach the furthest locations. The arrow this time will take you to an open area with some huts around. You will see another cave there, guarded by 2 regular Bears.
While there are only two of them, they are much tougher than Wolves. They have more health and deal massive damage with each hit. You’ll need powerful weapons like the Morning Star, Tactical Shotgun, or maybe a Raygun to take them down efficiently. After defeating both bears, collect the yellow key and use it to rescue the Squid Kid.
How to Find and Rescue Koala Kid
The Koala Kid is the hardest to rescue in the game. You have to fight 6 Alfa Bears, and this fight can easily overwhelm new players. Take your time with this battle.
