One of the coolest features this season is the ability to fly around in Star Wars vehicles, including the legendary TIE Fighter. But before you can take this iconic spacecraft to the sky, you will need to find and fix a damaged one. Here is the guide on how to fix the TIE Fighter in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3.
How to Find the Damaged TIE Fighter
Finding the TIE Fighter is your first challenge, but it’s actually pretty easy. You just need to go to the Rebel Outpost located south of Flooded Frogs. The landmark is situated where two roads meet before continuing south, you can see the exact spot on the map below. Look for the damaged TIE Fighter that’s visible at the outpost.
This spot is easy to miss, so keep your eyes peeled. Don’t confuse this with the damaged ships at Resistance Base, which are just parked there and can not be interacted with.
How to Fix the TIE Fighter in Fortnite
Once you’ve found the damaged TIE Fighter, the next step you need to take is to fix it:
Step 1: Activate the Computer
First, look for a computer terminal near the northern area of the outpost. Approach it and press the Investigate button to interact with it. The computer will analyze the TIE Fighter and tell you what needs to be done.
Step 2: Find the Three Fuel Containers
The computer will analyze and inform you that you need to refuel the TIE Fighter. The good news is that all the fuel you need is nearby. Here’s where to find all three fuel containers:
- Look behind the barrier to the north of the TIE Fighter.
- Search behind some crates to the west of the TIE Fighter.
- Find it sitting on a rock directly in front of the computer terminal you just used.
Step 3: Repair the TIE Fighter
After collecting all three fuel containers, go back to the TIE Fighter and interact with it to begin repairs. After a few seconds, the repairs will be complete.

Step 4: Take Flight
After you have fixed it, the previously broken TIE Fighter is now fully operating, and you can use it! Just hop in by interacting with it again, and you’ll be ready to fly across the map at high speed and use the blasters to damage enemies.
