If you play Fortnite, you know how fun it is to unlock new outfits. But most skins cost V-Bucks, which means you either have to spend real money or grind a lot. The good news? There are some free skins you can get this month without paying anything. In this guide, you’ll learn how to get all the free skins in Fortnite that are available in November 2025, plus some other free items like pickaxes and back blings. If you’re new to Fortnite or just want to save your V-Bucks, this guide will help you keep your locker growing.
All Free Skins in Fortnite (February 2026)
Right now, there are nine free skins you can get in-game. Some are easy to claim by linking accounts, and others need you to play or level up.

Let's look at each one and how you can add them to your collection:
1. Aaliyah Skin
To get Aaliyah’s skin for free in Fortnite, you need to join the Reload Lantern Fest Cup on March 3rd, 2026. This is your one shot at getting Aaliyah without paying.
2. Grace Ashcroft Skin
The only way to get this Grace Ashcroft skin for free is that you need to purchase Resident Evil Requiem on the Epic Games Store. The game has been available for pre-purchase since October 29th, 2025, and you can still grab it on launch day, February 27th, 2026. Buying the game after launch also counts, so you don’t have to pre-order specifically.
3. Ghost Monks Skin
The Ghost Monks skin can only be obtained through an Epic Games Gift Card promotion rather than being available for direct purchase with V-Bucks in the Item Shop. This promotion is only available until the end of 2026.
4. Explorer Emilie Skin
Explorer Emilie is a skin that came with the launch of LEGO Fortnite back in Chapter 5 and has been available ever since. Just link your LEGO Insiders account to your Epic Games account. The steps you need to follow are the same as getting the First Order Stormtrooper skin above. This is super easy and gives you a nice bonus skin.
5. Trailblazer Tai Skin
Trailblazer Tai is another free skin related to LEGO Fortnite. There is no expiration date for this skin, you can take your time with this one, too.
How to get it: Complete four simple quests in LEGO Fortnite. First, claim the True Explorers Quest Pack from the Item Shop (it's free), then finish the challenges in LEGO Fortnite mode. You'll also get the Skullder Back Bling as a reward.
6. Mr. Dappermint Skin
Want to be the richest candy mogul this side of the North Pole? Get the Mr. Dappermint skin in Fortnite. This free skin also has no expiry date, so you can get it whenever you want.
How to get it: Link your LEGO account to your Epic Games account. If you've already claimed Explorer Emilie, you should get this one automatically too!
7. Shinji Skin
The Shinji skin is a special PlayStation exclusive outfit. There is no end date announced for this free skin yet, but PlayStation Plus packs usually stay available for a few months.
How to get it: You need to be a PlayStation Plus subscriber. If you are, you can claim the pack from the PlayStation Store for free. The pack also includes the Virtual Servpack Back Bling and the Crimson Codeblade Pickaxe.
