Dust of Enlightenment in Genshin Impact is a brand-new item added in version 5.7 that can reroll the sub-stats of any of your existing level 20 artifacts. It can basically fix one of those seemingly perfect artifact pieces that rolled into a wasted stat as you leveled it up, and turn it into something useful. Steps to Use Dust of Enlightenment to Reroll Artifacts in Genshin Impact

Dust of Enlightenment is quite easy to use in Genshin Impact. However, before using it, it is important to know how many of these items you will require to reshape a particular artifact. As per the usage details, you will need one Dust of Enlightenment to reroll the Minor Affixes (sub-stats) of a Flower or a Feather. For Sands, Goblets, and Circlets, the required amount increases to two.

Once you have enough of this resource, follow these steps:

1. Select your desired artifact and click on the Reshape button present in the bottom-right corner.
2. Pick any two Minor Affixes from the available four options.
3. Click on the Reshape button again to reroll the sub-stats.
4. Afterward, a pop-up will show you the original artifact stats and the upgraded ones.
5. Choose whichever one you wish to keep and press Confirm.

Doing so will remove two rolls from other stats to increase the values of the chosen Minor Affixes. Initially, you can only buff the values twice; however, that can be changed with the Hallowed Exegesis mechanism.

Each time you spend a Dust of Enlightenment to reshape an artifact, you will receive one Hallowed Exegesis point. Once you accumulate six of them, you will be able to use Advanced Reshape, which rerolls the values of Minor Affixes thrice. After you have used Advanced Reshape twice, you will get the option to you Decreed Reshape, which can reroll the values of your chosen Affixes four times. This can be quite amazing as it can easily alter a 3% Crit Rate artifact into one offering 12% Crit Rate with enough luck.
