When Does Zoh Shia Become Available in Monster Hunter Wilds?
Before you can start hunting Zoh Shia in High Rank, you’ll need to:
- Complete the main storyline content involving Werner and Alma (High Rank 50 and above).
- Enter the post-game content phase.
- Look for Zoh Shia in High Rank Field Surveys, which only appear under specific conditions.
How to Get Zoh Shia Investigation in Monster Hunter Wilds
Before getting the Zoh Shia investigation, you first need to complete the newly added main quest that you can unlock by reaching High Rank 50, and after you finish the main story quest. You will get a notification that Werner is asking to talk to you in Suja. Talk to him to trigger the start of the quest.
After finishing the main quest, Zoh Shia doesn’t appear randomly like most monsters. To be able to find the monster on the field, you need to:
- Travel to the Ruins of Wyveria.
- Set the weather to Inclemency.
- Rest at camp repeatedly until Zoh Shia appears.

Based on testing, Zoh Shia typically appears every two or three rests with these settings, though it’s still subject to RNG (random number generation). Sometimes you’ll get lucky and find it right away, but be prepared to rest multiple times if needed. After the Title Update 1, resting now costs 500 Guild Points. So, make sure you already store a lot of Guild Points to be able to rest multiple times.
