But this process will only show default images and settings provided by Streamlabs. Using them can be too generic and even boring. You need to customize them to make them feel unique and personal to your channel.

How to Customize Streamlabs OBS Alerts

To customize Streamlabs OBS alerts, you will need to open Streamlabs website.

1. Open the Streamlabs website on your browser and log in. The log-in process is pretty important. If you log in with Youtube, you can customize alerts for donations, super chat, etc. When you log in with Twitch, you can customize alerts for bits, raids, etc. The same goes for other platforms too. So log in with a service that you use for streaming primarily. Once logged in, you can connect multiple accounts and customize alerts for all platforms individually.

2. Click on the Alert Box option in the sidebar.

4. Under each tab, you can customize everything related to the alert from the Image, Layout, Animation style, Alert duration, Alert delay, Font, Sound effects, etc. You can also set the minimum amount for the alert to pop up so that the alerts won’t spam for all the small donations.

As of now, we have set up Streamlabs OBS Alert Box, connected different platforms, and customized alerts for different actions like donations, bits, merch, etc. But what if you want a different alert when someone donates a higher amount or when someone buys a particular product from your store? For your special fans, you definitely need special alerts. Here’s how you can create them.

1. Open the Streamlabs website and click on the Alert Box option in the sidebar.

2. Now open any tab that you want to set a different alert. Here I want to create a special alert for someone who donates more than $10. So I am selecting the Donation tab. You can choose any tab according to your needs, but the steps remain the same more or less.

3. Here scroll down to the bottom and select the option Open Alert Variations.

4. To customize from the scratch, select Add A Variation With Default Settings. To make further customizations, select Add A Variation With Current Settings.

Also, you can set different alert styles for different platforms. On top of all this, there is also the option to create different alert variations based on different conditions.
