After the Ghibli-style image trend, there’s a new AI craze online: turning your photo into a cool action figure using ChatGPT. But here’s something even more fun. You can animate your AI-generated action figure and turn that image into a short video. If you’re new to this, don’t worry. Here’s everything you need to know, step by step.

Before Getting Started

First, you need to generate your action figure image using ChatGPT. If you are not sure how, we have a guide on how you can turn your photos into action figures, along with the prompt. No need for a subscription. It works on the free account, however, you are limited to generating 3 images/day.

Once generated, follow the simple steps below to turn that into a video for free.

Step-by-Step Guide: Create an AI Action Figure Video

  1. Go to Kling AI on your browser.
  2. Sign up with your email (you get 166 free credits, and each video takes around 20 credits).
  3. Click on Creative Studio > Video Generation.
  4. Upload your action figure image.
  5. Add a text prompt (optional), like – “Make the action figure jump out of the blister pack.”
  6. Hit Generate. Wait for Kling AI to create the animation.
  7. Download your animated video.

Bonus: Use Hailuo AI for More Videos

If you run out of credits on Kling, try Hailuo AI. It works the same way and gives 1100 free credits. Just upload your image, add a prompt if needed, and create a new video. However, we found the result from the Kling to be slightly better.

Tips to Make the Result Better

To get a better video on the first trail itself, follow the steps below.

  1. Give a detailed text prompt: Mention what your action figure should do in clear detail. Once typed, use ChatGPT to improve your prompt. That way, you can get even better results.
  2. Inspiration and Presets: You can also use ready-made prompts with the help of the Inspiration tab, however, most of them may not be suitable for your specific need.
  3. Upload End Frame: You can also upload an end frame image and ask the AI model to transition to that frame. That way, you can have more control over the movement in the video.

You can use this for fun, for profile videos, or even for making short content on social media. It’s free, fast, and anyone can do it. Give it a try and watch yourself turn from a toy in a box to a character in motion!
