- New leaks have emerged surrounding the iPhone Fold, Apple’s first foldable phone.
- Set to launch next year, it will have features like an under-display camera and Touch ID support.
- The iPhone Fold will be the largest iPhone from the company to date.
Apple has been lagging in innovation lately. However, this could change soon. With the Cupertino giant set to unveil the iPhone Fold next year, it could be the most “Un-Apple” iPhone in recent years, according to a new leak. Here’s everything you need to know about it.

iPhone Fold Will Be the Largest iPhone Till Date
According to a leak by tipster yeux1122 on Naver, the upcoming iPhone Fold will be the largest one from the company to date. It will have a massive 7.76-inch inner screen with a 2713 x 1920 pixels resolution.
This is bigger than the 7.6-inch panel on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. Furthermore, the iPhone Fold will have a 5.49-inch cover screen with a resolution of 2088 x 1422 pixels.

Interestingly, Apple’s iPhone Fold will be the first to have a punch hole cutout for the selfie camera. This has been previously confirmed by Digital Chat Station last week.
However, it will borrow one major feature from the Z Fold series: an under-display camera sensor. For reference, Samsung has been using this under-display sensor since the Z Fold 3.
As for the display itself, Samsung is said to be the supplier of the foldable panels. This shouldn’t be a major surprise since the company has been making these panels for some time now.
iPhone Fold to Have Creaseless Design With Touch ID
And since it’s Apple, there is always that one last thing. Apple is reportedly opting for a creaseless design. This seems to be a major priority for the Cupertino giant as it wants to stand out from the competition.
And as previous rumours suggest, iPhone Fold will return to its roots by opting for Touch ID instead of Face ID. This will be found on the power button, just like Samsung’s Z Fold series.
On paper, the iPhone Fold seems to be the most “un-Apple-istic” phone to date since it skips most features. It will have Touch ID instead of Face ID, under-display cameras, and a punch hole cutout.
Now, I won’t be surprised if Apple markets them as some groundbreaking innovation and charges a premium for it. Speaking of premium, reports suggest the iPhone Fold will have a price tag between $2100 to $2300, making it the most expensive iPhone to date (without any tariffs).
