Knockout Game Mechanics
The goal of Knockout is simple: be the last penguin standing on the platform. Every round, you pick a direction to move, and so does everyone else. All players have to do it at the same time. The trick is reading where other penguins are going to shoot, so you can dodge them or get in their way.

A match keeps going until only one penguin is left, all penguins are knocked off, or the game hits round 11 without any eliminations. So if you and everyone else are playing it super safe, the match will eventually just end on its own.
One important thing to know: the platform shrinks as rounds go on. If you’re standing too close to the edge when it shrinks, then you will fall.
Knockout Currency
Right now, Knockout only has one currency: Ice. You collect it from a bunch of different places, which makes it pretty easy to earn over time just by playing normally.

Here’s where you can get Ice:
| Source | How It Works |
|---|---|
| Daily & Weekly Tasks | Complete in-game challenges each day or week |
| Knockouts / Assists / Wins | Earn Ice for knocking penguins off or winning matches |
| Obby | Complete the obstacle course in the spawn area |
| Wheel | Spin the wheel for a chance at Ice and other rewards |
Once you have Ice, you spend it on eggs in the shop. Cracking open eggs gives you skins, which are purely cosmetic. They change how your penguin looks but don’t give you any gameplay advantage.
Knockout Game Modes
Knockout currently has two game modes, and before each match starts, you get a short window to vote for which one you want to play next. To vote, tap the mode button at the top of the screen between rounds. The game will cycle through the available maps and modes, and the option with the most votes has the best chance of being picked — though it’s not guaranteed.

1. 2 Teams
2 Teams splits everyone on the server into two groups: red and blue. Figuring out who’s on your team is easy. Every penguin has a colored arrow above their head, showing which team they’re on. You can also see the aim path and shot strength of your teammates, which is actually really useful for coordinating moves.
2. FFA (Free For All)
Free for All means every penguin is on their own. Just you against everyone else. Your only goal is to be the last one standing.
You can either play aggressively and go after other penguins, or hang back and let everyone else knock each other off. Both strategies work, but if you knock someone off the platform yourself, you get extra rewards for it.
POIs in the Spawn Area
When you get knocked out from the Arena, you respawn in the Spawn area. This is the main hub of the game and where you’ll spend most of your time between matches.

The shop sits in the back right corner of the spawn area. It holds everything important in one spot.
| Location | What It’s For |
|---|---|
| Shop | Buy eggs with Ice to unlock new skins |
| Limited Shop | Time-limited items and offers |
| Wheel | Spin for Ice and other rewards |
| Leaderboards | Track your stats and rankings |
| Obby | An obstacle course you can complete for rewards |
Leaderboards
The leaderboards in Knockout track three things: your total wins, your total Ice, and your total knockouts. You can check them in the spawn area to see how you stack up against other players.

If you finish in the top three of any leaderboard by the end of the week, you get a special reward:
| Leaderboard | Top 3 Reward |
|---|---|
| Knockouts | The Enforcer skin |
| Ice | Glacier Angel skin |
| Wins | King Emperor skin |
