LEGO Fortnite just got a major upgrade with the launch of Expeditions, and it’s pretty awesome. If you’ve been playing Odyssey or Brick Life, you can now jump into this new superhero adventure without even leaving your current game. Let me walk you through everything you need to know about becoming the ultimate hero.

LEGO Fortnite Expeditions Supernova Academy, Missions, and More

What is LEGO Fortnite Expeditions?

LEGO Fortnite Expeditions is your superhero training program. You’ll join Supernova Academy, where up to four players can team up to stop the evil Mask Maker Daigo from destroying the world. It’s a co-op experience that feels like playing through your own superhero movie.

The academy serves as your home base where you’ll meet other players, chat with teachers like Vengeance Jones and Hope, and get ready for missions. You can access Expeditions from the Discover tab or jump in directly from Odyssey and Brick Life using Battle Bus stations.

Missions and POIs in LEGO Fortnite Expeditions

Your main job is to complete missions and stop Daigo’s evil plans. His Spires are popping up everywhere, causing chaos across different locations. Here’s where you’ll be fighting:

  • Utopia City – This place attracts trouble like crazy, so you’ll be rescuing people, setting up communication towers, and placing Field Generators to keep the city safe.
  • Spire Excavation Site – A place where Daigo digs up those dangerous Spires. If you want to understand his plan and stop him, you need to investigate this place.
  • Busted Bridge – A broken bridge that needs superhero attention.

More locations are coming after launch, including Daigo’s headquarters, called Demon’s Domain, and even missions at the academy itself.

Hero Classes

This is where things get really fun. You get to pick your superhero style from three different hero classes, and you can switch between them anytime at the academy. Here are the options:

  • Shadow Caller – Fly around to scout the battlefield and use Command Shadow to launch explosive projectiles that damage enemies and heal your teammates. When things get too hot, activate Shadow Form to turn into a flock of ravens and escape safely. This class works great as either a damage dealer or a support hero.
  • The Hunter – Your go-to class for taking down tough enemies fast. The Hunter uses a Grappler to get close to targets, then unleashes the Bull’s-eye Blade for massive damage. The best part? You can mark enemies to make everyone on your team deal more damage to them.
  • Rift Ripper – You can throw Rift Shards at single targets or summon Rift Crystals for area damage. Being near your own crystals makes you stronger and gives small buffs to teammates. You can also Rift Jump to reach high places and Rift Dodge to escape danger through portals.

Each class level up separately as you complete missions and defeat enemies. You’ll earn skill points to spend on Hero Upgrades that make your chosen class even more powerful.

Tools and Weapons in LEGO Fortnite Expeditions

Even superheroes need good equipment. You can buy tools from vendors at the academy using Essence earned from missions. Here’s what you can get:

WeaponSpecial Abilities
Dual Daggers• Dashing Strike (charge up to 4 seconds)
• Spiral Cuts (multi-enemy damage)
War Hammer• Ham-Stand
• Ground Slam (hits 10 enemies)
• Can dodge while charging
Plasma Pistols• Sprint Spin (dash and fire while spinning)
• Aerial retreat move

Don’t forget about gadgets! You can equip three at once for stat boosts. Find them during missions or buy them from vendors.

Enemies

Knowing your enemies makes all the difference. Here’s what you’re up against:

  • Spires – Might look like crystals, but they’re alive and dangerous. They’ve spread across the world and cause all sorts of problems.
  • Light Demon Guards – Come at you with Slam Punches, bows, dynamite, and swords. They’re aggressive but manageable if you stay mobile.
  • Heavy Demon Guards – The tough guys carrying the same weapons you can use.
  • Kor – Daigo’s lieutenants and a real pain to fight. Kor jumps around the battlefield super fast, uses both melee and ranged attacks, and can summon backup.
  • Titans – The big bosses that require your full attention. Never fight them alone.

The final boss is Mask Maker Daigo himself. He’s the ultimate test of everything you’ve learned at the academy. You’ll need to use all your skills and work perfectly with your team to beat him.

Focus on teamwork during missions. The game is designed for cooperation, so communicate with your teammates and combine your abilities for maximum effect. Complete as many missions as possible to level up your hero classes. The more you play, the stronger you become. Most importantly, have fun with it!
