Before you can fight it, you need to talk to Kai, who explains that the Shatter Spawn stole his powers. He sends you through the portal to take it down and get those powers back.

The portal itself costs nothing to enter, so don't worry about gathering materials just to get through. Once you're inside, you'll find yourself in a completely new area. It looks incredible, and it's worth taking a moment to look around before the chaos starts.

How to Defeat the Shatter Spawn in LEGO Fortnite

The Shatter Spawn is no pushover. It has a massive health pool and some brutal attacks. One of its nastiest moves is spawning three tornadoes in a triangle formation that surround you and hit multiple times in a row. When you see that coming, move and dodge fast.

Summon the Ninjago Masters

Here's something that catches a lot of players off guard. Inside the Shatter Sanctum, there are portals that let you summon Ninjago Masters to fight alongside you. You can call in Zane, Jay, and Cole to help you during the Shatter Spawn fight. This is a huge advantage since they deal damage and keep the boss distracted while you focus on attacking.

However, they aren't invincible. Jay and Cole may not survive the full fight, so treat them as useful backup rather than a guaranteed win. Use the openings they create to go in and deal as much damage as possible.

Combat Tips

Based on early gameplay, using Ice damage seems to deal great damage against the Shatter Spawn. Then, you can also try riding your own dragon mid-fight and attacking the Shatter Spawn from above. It adds extra damage and gives you some mobility.

Again, the summoned Ninjago Masters do decent damage and keep the Shatter Spawn busy, but they alone won't finish the job. Use them to create openings and go in hard when the boss is distracted.

Dragon Shrines
