Anime Expo 2025 returns to the Los Angeles Convention Center from July 3 to 6, bringing a full weekend of premieres, panels, and guest appearances. Fans can look forward to major reveals, exclusive previews, and appearances from the creators behind anime’s biggest titles such as Chainsaw Man, Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen.

Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX will unveil new animation and designs, with live music. An appearance by director Kazuya Tsurumaki will make this a must-see for mech fans.

The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4 panel features Kaito Ishikawa (Naofumi) and producer Ten Kimura as they present new visuals and a trailer. The session will share insights into the upcoming story arcs and what fans can expect from the next chapter in the series.

Chainsaw Man – Reze Arc debuts a new trailer and character visuals, with insights from Director Tatsuya Yoshihara, writer Hiroshi Seko, and composer Kensuke Ushio. The panel previews the explosive Bomb Girl arc ahead of its theatrical release on September 19, 2025.

Ghost in the Shell x Science SARU reveals new details about the 2026 TV anime, including its story, animation style, and creative team. Fans can also visit the Kodansha booth for life-size displays, interactive previews, and exclusive giveaways.

Gachiakuta will exclusively premiere its first two episodes at Anime Expo, followed by a creator panel featuring Kei Urana and Hideyoshi Andou, the visionary manga artist and graffiti designer behind the series, for a live drawing and Q&A session

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba will take center stage with a special staff Q&A and a live performance of the anime’s iconic music. The event also includes a guest appearance by Natsuki Hanae, the voice of Tanjiro Kamado, making it a must-see for fans.

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End will take center stage with a heartfelt panel exploring the anime’s themes of grief and legacy. Joining the discussion are Chiaki Kobayashi (voice of Stark), producer Yuichiro Fukushi, and composer Evan Call, who will share behind-the-scenes stories and offer fans an emotional glimpse into the series’ future.

WITCH WATCH invites fans to a behind-the-scenes panel featuring director Hiroshi Ikehata and English dub cast members LilyPichu, Stephen Fu, and Caleb Yen. They’ll discuss adapting the rom‑com magic-comedy, explore creative decisions, and share the team’s approach to blending humor and fantasy.

BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War will host a special panel celebrating the series’ past and future. Fans can enjoy behind-the-scenes stories, fun trivia, and giveaways, with a possible sneak peek at the final arc, “Calamity.” It’s a must-see for longtime fans and those excited about the series’ conclusion.

LEVIATHAN makes its U.S. debut at Anime Expo with an exclusive screening and behind-the-scenes look from Studio Orange and Qubic Pictures, ahead of its July 10 Netflix release.

My Hero Academia brings Daiki Yamashita (Japanese Deku), Justin Briner (English Deku), and a Shonen Jump editor together to preview the anime’s final season with exclusive visuals and maybe a special message from creator Kohei Horikoshi.

One-Punch Man Season 3 will showcase new animation, a fresh trailer teasing the Monster Association arc, and appearances by voice actors Makoto Furukawa and Kaito Ishikawa, all leading up to its October 2025 release.

Dr. Stone invites fans to its panel featuring voice actors Yusuke Kobayashi (Senku) and Kenji Nojima (Dr. Xeno). Together with Crunchyroll, they’ll premiere the first episode of the final season’s second cour, share behind-the-scenes insights, and dive into the South America arc, spotlighting new music and casting developments.

Gintama – Mr. Ginpachi’s Zany Class premieres its comedic spin-off series with exclusive cast messages, sneak peeks at upcoming episodes, and a behind-the-scenes look at how this parody-packed world came together. The panel also features special merch previews and interactive fan segments.

DAN DA DAN returns with a panel featuring director Fuga Yamashiro and English voice actors Abby Trott, A.J. Beckles, and Aleks Le. They’ll break down what’s coming in Season 2 and share behind-the-scenes insights on bringing the series to life.

Detective Conan: The Black Iron Submarine premieres in the U.S. at Anime Expo with exclusive commentary, a trivia contest, and early access to the franchise’s highest-grossing film.

Day 4 – Sunday, July 6

Jujutsu Kaisen Special Event features voice actors Junya Enoki and Megumi Ogata, with TOHO Animation leading a stage session that includes behind-the-scenes talk, a Q&A, and a look at what’s next for the anime.

Kaiju No. 8 will debut a new Season 2 trailer with commentary from the team, plus a fresh theme song by AURORA. With work from Production I.G. and Studio Khara, the panel also hints at a surprise reveal.

Los Angeles Anime Expo 2025 is shaping up to be one of the most hype events of the year for anime fans.
