The Midtown map in Marvel Rivals is packed with fascinating Easter eggs and references that tell deeper stories about the game’s universe. From iconic corporate towers to humble storefronts, every corner of this map has a secret that connects to Marvel’s vast comic book history. Let’s check out all Marvel Rivals Easter Eggs and every hidden detail you can find while playing.
Table of Contents
1. The Fallen Iron Man

One of the most striking features is the massive Iron Man structure in the train station. What makes this particularly interesting is that you can actually interact with it. By shooting at specific areas marked in red when targeted, you can reverse time and watch the structure rebuild itself. However, note that it could drop your FPS. This same Iron Man appears on the map’s loading screen, giving context to its destroyed state.
2. Captain America’s Legacy

The train station features a prominent flag commemorating Captain America. In this universe’s timeline, the original Captain America is deceased, but the game introduces Captain America from 2099 as a replacement. His importance is emphasized through multiple statues, including one in The Avengers Tower.
3. Heroes for Hire Headquarters

The Heroes for Hire spot in the game nods to its comic book roots with characters like Luke Cage and Iron Fist. The location hints at future heroes possibly joining the roster, like White Tiger, Black Knight, and Hercules, following the series’ rich history. Luke Cage might show up later to the roster, possibly as a Vanguard.
4. Van Dyne’s Advertising

Van Dyne’s Fashion Boutique pays tribute to Janet Van Dyne, better known as The Wasp, and features Squirrel Girl in its display. We have previously discussed heroines we wish to see introduced in Marvel Rivals, and one of them is The Wasp. Could this be a nod that she will join the roster later? We’re hopeful!
5. Avengers Tower

The iconic Avengers Tower, of course, wouldn’t be missed as an Easter egg in this map. However, the interesting part is the strange upside-down symbol. When the arrow light turns off, it transforms into the letter “V,” emphasizing the Vampire theme of Season 1.
6. A.I.M. Facilities

The Advanced Idea Mechanics (A.I.M.) presence suggests potential storylines involving what Wolverine describes as “international science terrorists.” Their inclusion, along with the mentions of MODOK, suggests more content ahead. Will MODOK come to Marvel Rivals? That would be a fun and entertaining addition, just like Jeff!
7. The Baxter Building

This 35-story building and the top five floors are where the Fantastic Four live. The Baxter Building houses a mysterious teleportation device linked to Reed Richards’ work with the multiverse, along with clues suggesting the additions of Thing and Human Torch to the game’s roster.
8. Oscorp Building

Spider-Man fans will recognize Oscorp’s presence. Oscorp is a company established by Norman Osborn, that is famous for its advanced research in areas like military tech and biochemistry. We have discussed villains we want to see next in Marvel Rivals, and Green Goblin is one of them. With this Marvel Rivals Easter egg, we hope he joins the game—perhaps next Halloween?

9. Nelson & Murdock Law Office

One of the most significant Easter eggs is the Nelson & Murdock Law Office, complete with the tagline “Fight the crime fearlessly.” This is a direct reference to Daredevil. This law firm is run by Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson, who take on cases for those in need. At night, Murdock secretly fights crime as Daredevil. The word “fearlessly” is a special touch, since Daredevil is known as “The Man Without Fear.”
10. Fisk Building

The Fisk Building is home to the notorious Kingpin, Wilson Fisk, who serves as a major antagonist to both Daredevil and Spider-Man. This could also be a teaser for Kingpin’s introduction as a playable character or a villain in future seasons too! What do you think?
11. Bar With No Name

Located near the Hellfire Club, this establishment is known in Marvel lore as a neutral ground where villains can gather without conflict. It’s a safe place to relax without the threat of arrest, though fights sometimes happen despite a no-fighting rule. Its location is secret and changes often, with villains sharing the address by word of mouth. The bar has been raided by heroes like Spider-Man and Daredevil. Its inclusion adds depth to the game’s world-building.
12. Dazzler’s World Tour

A world tour advertisement for Dazzler’s “Light the World” confirms her existence in this universe. Dazzler, also known as Alison Blaire, is a mutant who turns sound into light and energy. She started as a disco singer and later became an X-Men member. She could bring fun gameplay with her music and combat abilities if she is added to the roster.
13. Roxxon Energy

Roxxon Energy’s presence recalls its complex history as one of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s earliest funders, despite having ties to Hydra. It is a huge company worth billions. It often supports shady projects to gain more power. However, even though it’s involved in many suspicious activities, Roxxon’s leaders and workers have avoided getting arrested. This Easter egg in Marvel Rivals contains a typo though—instead of “Energy,” it spells “Engeregy.”
14. Life Corporation

The Life Corporation building in the game connects to a key part of Marvel’s symbiote story. In the comics, the Life Foundation was a dangerous group that took five “seeds” from Venom’s symbiote to create their own symbiotes. These five new symbiotes were:
- Agony
- Phage
- Riot
- Lasher
- Scream
15. The Quiet Room

The Quiet Room, owned by Black Bolt, with its original comic logo intact, maintains its connection to Doctor Doom and the Battle World storyline.
16. Ardmore’s Bookstore

Ardmore’s Bookstore is an important spot in Spider-Man’s comics, where Peter Parker had a memorable moment. When Spider-Man released “Webs,” a book of his photos, he appeared at this bookstore for a signing event. This moment is special because it’s one of the few times Peter’s life as both a photographer and a superhero overlapped publicly.
