Season 2.5 of Marvel Rivals is bringing some of the biggest changes we’ve seen yet. Yes, NetEase finally revealed their latest Marvel Rivals Dev Vision Vol 06, which explained everything coming in Season 2.5. After Ultron’s surprise attack at the Hellfire Gala, the mutants of Krakoa are facing their toughest challenge. Now Ultron has stolen Cerebro, evolved into the powerful X-Tron, and taken over Arakko.

Marvel Rivals Dev Vision Vol 06: Ultron Officially Comes to Season 2.5

Ultron joins the roster as a flying Strategist who changes how you build your team. Unlike other Strategists who stay on the ground, Ultron takes to the air, giving new options for aerial-focused lineups. He stands out with a dual role: He can heal teammates during tough fights and also fire powerful energy beams that deal heavy damage.

Based on what Guangguang said in the video, Ultron’s main weapon offers a new kind of shooting style that feels unique compared to other heroes. When teamed up with Iron Man, Ultron upgrades his firepower by using Iron Man’s tech to shoot lasers that cut through enemies and heal allies at the same time.

Luna Snow is getting some interesting changes. Her ultimate ability will require more energy to use, but her standard abilities are getting buffed to compensate. This should keep her overall power level balanced while changing how you play her. Jeff the Land Shark is also receiving partial adjustments for a fresh gameplay experience.

Ultron’s Battle Matrix Protocol: New Experimental Mode

Starting June 6th, you can try Ultron’s Battle Matrix Protocol, a limited-time mode where you build your own hero teams and boost their traits. Based on the video, it’s all about strategy and numbers, and the best part is, there’s no leaderboard stress, so you can just have fun playing how you want.

New Personalization Features

Season 2.5 introduces several quality-of-life improvements. You’ll see hero proficiency avatars on the match hero select wheel, making it easier to see which heroes your teammates are skilled with. Two new personalization systems are also launching: Mood and Emojis. These let you express yourself more during matches and add personality to your gameplay experience.

Shorter Seasons and Tournament Play in Marvel Rivals

Starting with Season 3, Marvel Rivals seasons will be shortened to two months each instead of the current longer format. The developers are preparing for this faster pace and promise that the new heroes they’re working on are worth the wait. In June, the Ignite Tournament Series will kick off its first stage of competition, bringing organized competitive play to Marvel Rivals.

So, that is all that NetEase revealed in Marvel Rivals Dev Vision Vol 06. Season 2.5 fixes the fast-paced battles from before by slowing things down a bit and adding new team-up abilities for more strategy. With Ultron’s flying skills and nerfs to popular heroes, players will need to change their team plans. These updates keep Marvel Rivals balanced and fun for both casual and competitive players. See you in the new battlefield!
