Marvel Rivals Leaks Reveal Season 3 Heroes Phoenix and Blade

What We Know About Marvel Rivals Season 3

Based on leaks posted by X0X_LEAK on X, Season 3 is going to be called The Abyss Awakenand it’s starting on July 11th, 2025. Here’s what’s coming with the new season:

  • Two powerful new heroes.
  • New team-up abilities.
  • Venomized costumes.
  • Summer events and limited-time rewards.

The theme seems to center around Klyntar, which is the home planet of symbiotes like Venom. This makes perfect sense with all the Venomized content they’re planning.

Marvel Rivals Leaks Reveal Season 3 Heroes: Phoenix and Blade

Phoenix

Phoenix is actually Jean Grey, one of the most powerful X-Men ever. She’s what they call an Omega-Level mutant, which means her powers are off the charts. Based on her comic book powers, here’s what Phoenix will likely bring to Marvel Rivals:

  • Telekinetic Powers – She can move objects and people with her mind. This will work great for controlling the battlefield and moving enemies around.
  • Telepathic Abilities – Reading minds and mental attacks are her specialty.
  • Flight – Phoenix can fly using her telekinesis, making her a mobile threat like Ultron.
  • Phoenix Force Transformation – Might be her Ultimate ability.

The leaks also mention new team-up abilities, and Phoenix has a lot of options with Storm (they’re best friends in the comics), Wolverine (this team-up ability is almost confirmed), and Magik, plus Psylocke (fellow X-Men). The Wolverine team-up sounds cool because it might give Logan some kind of movement boost and fill up his rage meter faster.

Blade

Have you noticed that Blade has gone missing from the game? He’s no longer showing up on any map, and Marvel Rivals even posted a cryptic tweet that got fans speculating. Could this mean he’s finally joining the roster in the new season?

If yes, then Blade is all about getting up close and personal with his enemies. His abilities might include:

  • Sword Combat – His katana will be his main weapon. So it’s going to be fast and deadly melee attacks.
  • Enhanced Vampire Abilities – Super strength, speed, and reflexes without the typical vampire weaknesses.
  • Vampire Transformation – Could be his ultimate ability, going full vampire mode.
  • Wallhack Passive – Similar to Punisher’s ability to see enemies through walls.

In the comic, Blade has worked with several heroes that have already been released in the game, such as Doctor Strange (they’ve been allies for years), Spider-Man (street-level hero connections), The Punisher (both are gritty fighters), and Moon Knight through a Cloak & Dagger team-up.

Both Phoenix and Blade are expected to be Duelists in Marvel Rivals. This is the first time we’re getting new Duelists since Human Torch joined in February.

Season 3 Rewards and Events

The leaked Twitch Drops campaign will run from July 11th to August 8th. The last Twitch Drops are from Marvel Rivals Ignite, and the rewards are Magik-related items. Here’s what you can earn for Season 3:

  • Hawkeye “Will of Galacta” Spray
  • Hawkeye “Will of Galacta” Nameplate
  • Hawkeye “Will of Galacta” Costume
  • Special Emote

The Venomized costumes are going to be huge, too. Imagine your favorite heroes covered in symbiote designs. It’s going to look incredible. Additionally, the Summer events will likely bring limited-time game modes and exclusive rewards. Or maybe, the long-awaited Swimsuit skins are finally coming? Because NetEase said that these skins will come out in July 2025.
