One Piece Live-Action Season 2 Set for Early 2026

The much-anticipated second season of One Piece live-action is set to arrive in 2026. Netflix confirmed the release window at Tudum 2025 and unveiled the first look at Tony Tony Chopper in live-action CGI.

The season will expand the story with new characters and bigger adventures. Mikaela Hoover voices and performs motion capture for Chopper, while Joe Tracz takes over as showrunner. Creator Eiichiro Oda remains involved creatively to keep the series faithful to the source material.

Stranger Things Season 5 to Release in Three Volumes

The final season of Stranger Things is set to arrive later this year. Netflix confirmed that Season 5 will be split into three volumes, with the first four episodes dropping on November 26, the next three on December 25, and the finale arriving on December 31, 2025.

The season will begin with Chapter One: The Crawl, followed by episodes like The Turnbow Trap, Sorcerer, and Shock Jock. The Duffer Brothers and Frank Darabont return to direct key episodes, promising a climactic finish to the Hawkins saga. The teaser trailer revealed at Tudum hints at an emotional and action-packed end, as Eleven, Mike, Will, and the rest of the cast face their final battle in the Upside Down.

First Six Minutes of Wednesday Season 2 Released

Fans got a surprise drop at Tudum this year when the first six minutes of Wednesday Season 2 were released online ahead of the show’s premiere.

Wednesday Season 2 will debut in two parts, with Part 1 arriving August 6 and Part 2 on September 3, 2025. Netflix also confirmed that Lady Gaga will guest star as Rosaline Rotwood, a mysterious Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday.

Squid Game Season 3 Arrives on June 27

Squid Game is back. The global phenomenon returns for its third and final season on June 27, 2025, and Netflix dropped a brand-new trailer during the event.

The trailer shows Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) navigating a new series of deadly games, but this time with a personal mission. Creator Hwang Dong-hyuk shared that this season “focuses on what Gi-hun can and will do after all his efforts fail,” and poses a key question: “Can he rise again to prove that humanity still has a place in this world?”

Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery Gets December Release

The next chapter in Rian Johnson’s Knives Out series has a name and a date. Wake Up Dead Man will premiere on December 12, 2025, with Daniel Craig returning as detective Benoit Blanc.

A teaser dropped at Tudum reveals this will be Blanc’s “most dangerous case yet.” The star-studded cast includes Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, and more.

Happy Gilmore 2 Trailer Released, Set for July 25

After nearly 30 years, Happy Gilmore is getting a sequel. Netflix debuted the first trailer for Happy Gilmore 2, which releases on July 25, 2025.

Adam Sandler returns as Happy, joined by familiar faces including Julie Bowen and Ben Stiller. The sequel also features new cast members like Bad Bunny, Sadie and Sunny Sandler, and Blake Clark.

First Look at Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein

Del Toro’s next project, Frankenstein, finally has a teaser. The gothic horror film stars Oscar Isaac as Victor Frankenstein and Jacob Elordi as the creature, with dark, moody visuals revealed in the first footage.

Set to release in November 2025, the teaser shows iconic del Toro visuals — staircases lit by candelabra, eerie figures in flames, and a hauntingly tragic tone.

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck Return for The Rip

Tudum also unveiled The Rip, a gritty crime thriller directed by Joe Carnahan, starring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck as Miami cops caught in a spiralling drug operation.

Set for release on January 16, 2026, the film features a strong supporting cast including Steven Yeun, Kyle Chandler, and Teyana Taylor. Inspired by real-life events, The Rip draws from classic 1970s cop thrillers like Serpico and Heat.
