The timing couldn’t have been more perfect. Apple launches new iPhone 16 series and Netflix decides to stop supporting a bunch of old iPhone models. It’s written in the stars for owners of the below iPhone models to buy a new iPhone. It can be the latest iPhone 16 series or the last-gen iPhone 15 series which is still awesome.
Supported iOS and iPadOS
The latest version of Netflix mobile app requires at least iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 as seen by 9to5Mac. Any iPhones that don’t support these OS versions won’t be able to run the latest version of Netflix moving forward. You may be able to use an older version still by not updating the app but that strategy won’t work for long. Eventually, Netflix will stop working on your iPhone/iPad. We suggest you better grab a deal this holiday season.
