One Piece anime just dropped one of the most anticipated episodes, 1128, featuring one of the Five Elders, Saturn, in action for the first time. Until now, we have only seen these Elders talking and discussing matters, but this time, one of them has finally shown up to fight.

One Piece Episode 1128 Recap
The Episode 1128 kicks off with Atlas taking control of all the Pacifistas and commanding them to attack the Marines. However, one of the Vice Admirals, Bluegrass, manages to take control over one of the Pascifista using his Devil Fruit powers, which allows him to control anything he rides.
The Vice Admiral finds Bonney, who was trying to escape from the Navy, and launches a laser beam using the Pascifista. Seeing her father’s figure standing in front of her, Bonney gets stunned. However, Sanji makes it in time and saves her from getting hit by it. Meanwhile, Vegapunk arrives there to rescue them both.
The scene then shifts to Zoro, where he is still fighting Lucci, whereas Luffy goofes around with Kizaru. However, the episode takes a shocking turn when one of the Five Elders, Saint Jaygarcia Saturn, joins the battlefield.

Saturn arrives on Egghead Island through a mysterious teleportation circle, and his presence instantly shakes the entire island. Upon his arrival, he takes over the control of the Pacifistas and immediately orders them to stand down.
Seeing Saturn join the fight, Kizaru shifts his focus from Luffy to Vegapunk and tries to hit him with his lightning beam, but Vegapunk manages to dodge it. Before he could hit them again, Luffy got there to stop him. Luffy outmaneuvered Kizaru with his Gear 5 powers and imagination, but it also drained him completely.
Saturn envisions Nika by seeing Luffy fight Kizaru in the air. He then goes towards the Vegapunk group, who had just fallen from the sky. Bonney recalls her memory of the scene where Saturn commands Vegapunk to perform experiments on Kuma. With anger in her eyes for her father’s condition, Bonney grabs a sword from the ground and stabs Saturn in the chest. This ends the episode, showing Saturn getting hurt from that attack.
One Piece Episode 1129 Preview
There is no preview of Episode 1129 yet since the recent episode showed the preview of the recap episode. In this preview, we see Chopper announcing that he will be narrating the story of Kuma and Bonney that we have seen so far in the anime, in the next episode.
Episode 1128 adapted Chapter 1094 from the manga, which means Episode 1129 will start from Chapter 1095. This episode will finally show us the past of Kuma, revealing his connection to the World Government.

Sadly, One Piece Episode 1129 is delayed by one week since the next episode is going to filler/recap episode “Dr. Chopper’s Adventure Checkup -The Ballad of A Father and Daughter.” The special episode will be released on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at 11:15 PM JST. This pushes Episode 1129 a week further.
