- One UI 7 has introduced a redesigned Quick Settings Panel with a layout similar to iOS.
- You can now choose to keep notification and quick settings separate or back to as it was before.
- Access quick settings by swiping from the top right corner and notifications from anywhere else on the screen.
One UI 7 brings an updated Quick Settings panel that closely resembles iOS, however, Samsung has added its own touch here and there.
What’s Changed in One UI 7 Quick Settings?
Similar to iPhone, you can now swipe down from the top right corner to open the quick settings panel or swipe from anywhere else from the top to view notifications. If you prefer the old combined layout where notifications and quick settings appear in the same window, you can easily revert to it in the Quick Panel settings.
The revamped panel includes toggles grouped in an expandable widget for a cleaner look. While you can manage these toggles, the default widgets remain fixed and cannot be removed or even resized. Unlike iOS, which supports creating multiple quick settings pages, One UI 7 keeps everything on a single page.
Additionally, if you’re connected to a VPN, the status will appear clearly at the bottom of the panel. This ensures better visibility without making the main interface feel crowded.

Personalize Your Quick Settings Panel
Tap on the Pencil icon to organize quick settings toggles to suit your needs by dragging and dropping them into your preferred order.
You can also reorder, remove, and add quick toggles from the UI tab by tapping on the Edit option.
For example, if you prefer to keep only internet and connection-related buttons, you can customize the panel to exclude extra options and keep it the way you want.
Note: You can’t change the position of this tab.
If you prefer the classic Quick Settings Panel, tap the Pencil icon at the top right, go to Panel settings, and select Together to switch back.
This new design by One UI 7 focuses on being easy to use while still giving you more options to customize.
