OnePlus, the Chinese smartphone brand, is developing its next flagship, the OnePlus 13T. Unlike previous models in the T series, the 13T will be a compact smartphone. The company has revealed the upcoming phone’s design in a new teaser video. Here’s everything you need to know.

OnePlus 13T Video Reveals iPhone-Inspired Design and Launch Date
The much-awaited OnePlus 13T finally has a launch date, and it is set to debut on April 24. OnePlus 13T’s official video shows a flat design with rounded edges that is suspiciously similar to recent iPhones. Speaking of flat, the OnePlus 13T has a completely flat panel, unlike the quad-curved ones on recent OnePlus phones.
The phone replaces the iconic alert slider with a new customizable shortcut button called the Quick Key. It’s a controversial move since OnePlus was always known for doing something different, whether it was OxygenOS or Alert Slider.
Found on the left side of the phone, the teaser video shows us a glimpse of the Quick Key on the OnePlus 13T. As always, all future OnePlus/Oppo phones will have this button instead of the alert slider. We recently saw the button on the Oppo Find X8 Ultra, and it’s very similar to Apple’s implementation of the Action Button.
As you might have guessed, this button will let you open the flashlight, quickly launch any app, or change the ringer mode from silent/vibrate or ringer. Another change is the camera module, as the company will ditch the circular camera module for an iPhone-inspired flat one.
Towards the end of the video, we can see the OnePlus 13T in three different colors: Pink, Morning Mist Gray, and Cloud Ink Black. The design’s resemblance to the recent iPhones is very uncanny here.
OnePlus 13T Specifications

Although you only get two cameras on the back instead of the triple-camera setup of the OnePlus 13. It will sport a 50-megapixel primary and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x zoom. Moreover, the phone will have an “Esports Wi-Fi Chip G1” for staying connected to the internet.
