Petit Planet is a chilling and fun game to play alone. However, it is also a highly social experience, and playing with others is something you shouldn’t miss. There’s a lot to do in Petit Planet multiplayer mode. In this guide, you’ll find everything you need to know about it.
Petit Planet Multiplayer Mode
Does Petit Planet have multiplayer? Yes, and the mode features many neighbors across the galaxy, including both NPCs and real-life players. There are two methods for playing multiplayer in Petit Planet:
1. Visiting Friends' Planets
The first method is to visit another planet or invite someone to your own. Once someone is on your friends list, you’ll receive a notification when they’re online. The game refers to this as “passing by your planet,” which simply means they’re active. From there, you can send them a visit request, and if they accept, you're free to explore their entire world.

Every planet looks different depending on how that player has decorated it and how far along they are in the game. So each visit feels a bit different, which keeps things fresh.
There is actually more to do on a friend's planet than just looking around. Here is what's available:
- Their Loomi Mart carries different items than yours. Every planet has its own store rotation, so you might find furniture or decorations you can't get at home.
- You can leave a message on their board. Walk up to the board on their planet, type something, and it sticks right up there. It's a nice little way to say you stopped by.
- You can gift each other flowers. Small thing, but it's a cute way to interact while you're there.
- Chat and emotes work here, too. You can send messages and fun little emojis directly to your friend while you're on their planet.
Every planet looks different depending on that player's style, plus how far they are with their Luca Arbor progression, so visiting is always a bit of a surprise.
2. The Galactic Bazaar
The Galactic Bazaar is basically the game's shared online hub. You show up here to play games, win prizes, and meet other players who are not even on your friend list.

- Rhythm Dancing Game - Follow the beat and earn rewards you can spend at the prize kiosk.
- Magic Wheel - Pick a lucky number, spin, and see what you win. Prizes include customization items, fireworks, sparklers, and other fun stuff you can use on the server.
- Chat Areas - You can only chat with players on your friends list or inside the designated chat zones. There are three of them:
- The Café: Open your own private room to hang with friends, or jump into a public room to chat with anyone. You can also buy a coffee for yourself or someone else in the room.
- Question Mark Tables: Sit down here if you need advice. It's a public area, so any player can come in and help you out.
- The Fire Pit: Another public chat spot, more casual. Good for meeting random players and just hanging out.
The Bazaar has daily mingle tasks, too. Do them. They give you rewards, and they usually just involve talking to people or joining in on activities you'd be doing anyway.
Petit Planet multiplayer is low-pressure and actually fun to do. Grab your car and see what your friends' worlds look like. You might find something in their shop you've been looking for. Just make sure you have the required Loomi to buy stuff! Check out our Petit Planet Wiki to find out more about this game.
