Petit Planet is HoYoverse's cozy life-sim where you build your own little world and fill it with colorful characters called Neighbors. Each one has their own job, personality, home planet, daily gifts, and even a birthday. Getting to know them is one of the best parts of the game. Here's everything you need to know about all Petit Planet Neighbors and NPCs.

Petit Planet Neighbors and NPCs

Right now, there are 13 confirmed Neighbors in Petit Planet, with more expected as the game moves out of beta:

There are also two characters named Tala and Tata who have been spotted in the beta. They haven't been confirmed as Neighbors yet, but they look like strong candidates for future updates. There's also Nalo, an AI chatbot NPC found at the multiplayer cafe in the Galactic Bazaar, who is a little different from the rest.

How to Get to Know Petit Planet Neighbors and NPCs

The more time you spend with your Neighbors, the more the game opens up. Three big things come with building those relationships: Learning where they come from, getting gifts from them, and unlocking their personal stories.

Home Planets and Galaxies

If you dig into the Starcove section of the game, you'll notice that every Neighbor has a home planet listed. Frostia and Medowlyn are both from Norvanya, Yunguo, Isaki, and Dorjelang are from Hexia, and Msafiri is from Taffeh. These Galaxies hint that each Neighbor has their own world with a real identity behind it. You can't visit these Galaxies right now, but future updates could very well let you travel there.

Daily Gifts

Your Neighbors can give you gifts regularly as a way of showing they care. You can give gifts back too, which helps build your friendship faster. Just don't hand them back the same item they just gave you, or don't give them the things that they dislike. They will notice, and they will call you out for it.

Friendship Levels and Storylines

Every Neighbor has their own storyline that unlocks as your friendship with them grows. The deeper the bond, the more you find out about who they really are and where they came from. It gives you a real reason to spend time with all of them instead of just your favorites.
