Google recently released the Pixel 9 series packed with AI features, a new Pixel Watch, and some new apps. We have covered them all here and will be soon coming out with first impressions and later, a detailed review. So stay tuned and follow TW for more. One of the event’s highlights was the newly redesigned Weather app that is now powered by Google’s Gemini AI. It seems the Pixel Weather app will also come to Pixel Tablet.
First spotted by 9to5Google, the Google support page for Pixel Weather app has been updated with new information. It now mentions all the devices that will support the new Weather app and the list mentions Pixel 9 Pro Fold and Pixel Tablet.

The highlight of the new Weather app is AI-generated summaries. For those who find it difficult to read the weather app or aren’t sure what all the colors, numbers, and charts mean, a text summary should be quite useful. Other features include the ability to add, remove, and move around individual weather cards or blocks so you can see what is important to you right at the top.
Note that Google’s Weather app is already available on the Play Store but it is currently unclear whether the new AI weather report summaries will work on non-Pixel devices too. Google’s AI app Gemini is available to download on all Android phones and Google does work closely with other Android brands like Samsung and Motorola. These two were also mentioned in the Made by Google event that concluded recently. Does that mean Pixel’s Weather app with AI weather reports will be coming to the Samsung Galaxy series or Motorola? We will keep you guys updated.
And that’s it, folks.
