Want to play Marvel Rivals but worried about your aim? Many new players in the community have been talking about it. They are excited to play Marvel Rivals but feel hesitant because they are not confident in their aiming skills. While the game requires good aim for some heroes, we found some characters who have either auto-aim or don’t require perfect aiming skills to deal damage or heal. Let’s look at the easiest Marvel Rivals heroes for players who struggle with aiming.
Table of Contents
1. Scarlet Witch
Scarlet Witch is your best friend if you want to deal damage without stressing about pixel-perfect accuracy. Her main attack, Chaos Control, is so forgiving. Just hold down the left mouse button while pointing roughly in the enemy’s direction and you will start dealing damage. Think of it like using a wide spray rather than a precise laser.
The trade-off is that you will need to learn when to attack and when to run which is not that hard. Scarlet Witch can dish out serious damage, but she is pretty fragile. You only get one escape ability, so timing is everything. Start by playing it safe and only going aggressive when you have backup from your team.
2. Captain America
Want to play a character that can take hits while still being effective? Cap is your guy. As a melee character, most of his damage comes from close-range strikes that don’t need precise aiming. What makes him even better for new players is his passive ability to attack nearby enemies automatically with his shield (just throw it!). This does not need aiming at all.
His Vibranium Energy Saw is also super forgiving. The shield bounces between enemies so even if your throw is not perfect, you still hit multiple targets. This makes Captain America a perfect choice if you want to play a tank role while still learning how to play Marvel Rivals.
3. Moon Knight
Here is a cool trick for new players who pick Moon Knight in Marvel Rivals. Instead of trying to hit enemies directly, try the Ancient Ankh as a bouncing point for your attacks. Place the Ankh near areas where enemies gather, and your shots will automatically hit anyone within range when you aim at the Ankh. It’s like having a magical targeting system.
The key to success aiming with Moon Knight is finding good high-ground positions. Try to stay on rooftops or elevated areas where you can see the entire battlefield from up above and use your Ankh effectively from there.

4. Wolverine
Prefer close combat? Wolverine is a great starting character. His melee attacks have wide hitboxes, meaning you don’t need to be super precise or have a perfect aim to land your hits. What matters more is learning when to attack and when to back off.
The best part about Wolverine is how easy he is to play and effective too. Just jump in, start swinging, and as you deal and take damage, you will build up rage that makes you even tougher. It’s a simple way to help your team while learning the game.
5. Cloak and Dagger
Want to support your team? Cloak and Dagger, and especially Dagger, is a perfect choice for new players who want to heal. Her healing abilities use an auto-targeting system. You just need to get your crosshair somewhat close to allies, and your healing will connect automatically.
The one challenge is that you technically need to control two characters. Start by focusing on Dagger’s healing abilities until you’re comfortable, then gradually learn to use Cloak’s abilities too. This way, you can grow into the character’s full potential at your own pace, like I did when I first started playing Marvel Rivals.
Remember, these characters are great starting points for those who lack aiming skills, but still require practice to master. Focus on learning good positioning and game sense first and your aim will naturally improve as you play. Don’t feel pressured to switch to more aim-intensive characters until ready. These heroes can be incredibly effective at all skill levels when played well.
Choose the character that matches your preferred playstyle, whether that’s supporting from the back with Cloak and Dagger or getting into the action with Wolverine. The most important thing is having fun while you learn.
