Resident Evil Requiem has dozens of items split across different categories including quest items, ammo, healing supplies, crafting materials, and upgrade tools. Grace and Leon collect different items during their campaigns, and knowing where to find important pickups helps you survive longer. Here’s every item type in Resident Evil Requiem and where to get them.

Quest Items

Quest items are objects you need to move forward in the story. You can’t drop or discard these, and they take up inventory space until you use them.

Ammo Types

Every gun uses a different ammo type. You can find ammo scattered around levels, buy it from Supply Boxes, or craft it yourself.

Ammo TypeUsed ByHow to Get
Handgun AmmoPistolsFound in containers, buy for 500 credits, craft with Scrap + Gunpowder (Small)

Handgun ammo is the most common and cheapest to buy. Rifle and shotgun ammo costs more but deals higher damage per shot. The special 12.7x55mm rounds only work with Grace’s Requiem pistol and require rare materials to craft.

Healing and Consumable Items

These items restore health or give temporary stat boosts. They disappear after one use.

Green Herbs are free and plentiful. Always combine them before using to get better healing. Steroids permanently boost your maximum health, so use them as soon as you make them. Stabilizers make your weapons stronger temporarily.

Crafting Materials

Materials combine together to create ammo, healing items, and other supplies. Grace and Leon use different crafting systems.

Currency

Antique Coins are the only collectible currency in Resident Evil Requiem. You spend these at special shops.

Antique Coins – Hidden throughout every area. Look on shelves, inside drawers, and in hard-to-reach corners. You can also break down 5 Antique Coins into 1 Scrap if needed. Spend coins at the Coin Cabinet in the Care Center to buy upgrades like Hip Pouches (3 coins), Stabilizers (4 coins), Steroids (4 coins), and the Override Manual (6 coins).

Blood Collector Upgrades

Grace starts with a Blood Collector that holds 100 units of Infected Blood. Two upgrades increase this limit:

  • Matsuoka Override Manual – Found in the Parlor (West Wing of Care Center). Costs 6 Antique Coins from the Coin Cabinet. Adds +50 capacity. Must be bought again each playthrough.
  • Matsuoka Master Manual – Unlocked in Special Content menu for 1,000 Completion Points after beating the game. Adds +50 capacity permanently across all saves.

With both upgrades, Grace can hold 200 units of Infected Blood total. This lets her craft more items without needing to refill constantly.

Blood Specimen Locations

Grace needs to find and analyze three Blood Specimens to unlock her crafting recipes:

Two additional crafting recipes come from documents instead of Blood Specimens:

  • Crafting Recipe (Basement) – Bunkroom in Care Center Basement. Unlocks Molotov Cocktails.
  • Crafting Recipe (ARK) – Monitor Control Room when playing as Grace. Unlocks Bottle of Acid and other items.

Resident Evil Requiem’s item system rewards players who explore thoroughly and manage their inventory carefully. Always craft ammo when you have spare materials and upgrade your inventory capacity early.
