There are 50 challenges to complete in Resident Evil Requiem. Yes, it's a lot, but it is what you have to do in such a long game, and finishing them all is how you unlock the best bonus content in the game. Some challenges are simply following the story, so you won't miss them. However, others will actually push you to your limits. Either way, this guide covers every single one. Here is the full list of all challenges in Resident Evil Requiem and how to complete them.
What Are Challenges in Resident Evil Requiem?
Challenges are optional objectives tracked in your pause menu in the game. You can check your progress at any time, and your challenge tallies carry over even if you reload a save or start a new playthrough. Every challenge you clear earns you Completion Points (CP), which you can then spend in the Special Contents Store on bonus weapons, cheats, cosmetics, models, and more.

So, if you want everything in the Special Contents Store, you're going to need to complete all 50 challenges. Start early and track what you've already done.
All Story Challenges in Resident Evil Requiem
These challenges unlock automatically as you play through the main story:
| Challenge | How to Unlock |
|---|---|
| Deja Vu | Encounter an outbreak in Wrenwood |
| Descent Into Darkness | Reach the basement of the Care Center |
| It's Been a Long Night | Reach the courtyard of the Care Center |
| A Harsh Reality | Escape the Care Center |
| Going Down? | Reach the ground using the suspended platform |
| The Hero Returns | Arrive at the RPD |
| I Remember That, Too | Defeat the Super Tyrant |
| Umbrella's Legacy | Find ARK |
| The Final Mission | Start exploring the lower levels of ARK |
| Hope and Requiem | Complete the main story by releasing Elpis |
All Difficulty Challenges in Resident Evil Requiem
Clearing the game on different difficulty settings will earn you big Completion Points rewards. Greater difficulties also count toward lower ones. So, if you beat Insanity mode, then it will unlock all four difficulty challenges at once!
| Challenge | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Rookie Agent | Beat the game on Casual mode or higher |
| Rising Agent | Beat the game on Standard (Modern) mode or higher |
| Resolute Agent | Beat the game on Standard (Classic) mode or higher |
| Remarkable Agent | Beat the game on Insanity difficulty |
The Standard (Classic) mode uses limited manual saves with ink ribbons, which makes it tougher to do. Insanity mode is another level. It's the hardest mode in the game, and this one will only be unlocked after you finish the campaign once. The infected zombies will deal more damage, items are also placed differently, and you will really need to know the game well to survive this mode.
All Grace Challenges

These are tasks tied to Grace Ashcroft only:
| Challenge | How to Complete |
|---|---|
| Out of Sight, Out of Mind | Store any item in an item box as Grace |
| The Ol' Fashioned Way | Use an ink ribbon to save at a typewriter |
| Like Mother, Like Daughter | Unlock a drawer with a lockpick |
| Fatal Dose | Kill a zombie with the hemolytic Injector |
| Science! | Unlock a crafting recipe using the Analyzer Machine |
| The Power of Blood | Craft an item using the Blood Collector |
| Blood! More Blood! | Use 300 microsamples of infected blood |
| Bring Out the Big Guns | Stun the Girl with the Requiem |
For Science!, head to the Blood Lab in the Care Center's East Wing. You'll find the first Blood Specimen (Denatured) and the Analyzer there. Solve the atom puzzle, and you'll unlock a crafting recipe automatically.
All Leon Challenges

These are tasks for Leon Kennedy only:
| Challenge | How to Complete |
|---|---|
| Untouchable | Parry an enemy attack with the hatchet |
| Can I Borrow This? | Throw a weapon dropped by an enemy |
| Chop Chop | Defeat 3 zombies with hatchet finishing attacks |
| Retail Therapy | Buy an item from a supply box |
| Tailor Made | Upgrade any weapon |
| Road Rage | Stop one of Victor's attacks on the highway |
| Master Craftsman | Craft every possible item as Leon |
All Combat Challenges in Resident Evil Requiem
These require you to deal with specific enemies and specific characters, too, sometimes:
| Challenge | Character | How to Complete |
|---|---|---|
| Bang For Your Buck | Grace or Leon | Kill 3 or more enemies with a single Requiem shot |
| Cat Got Your Tongue? | Leon | Cut off a Licker's tongue using the hatchet |
| Order Up! | Grace | Kill the chef in the Care Center |
| Deadly Duet | Grace or Leon | Kill both singers in the Care Center |
| Grace and Goliath | Grace | Kill Chunk before reaching the Care Center Basement |
| Internal Dispute | Grace | Make a zombie attack another zombie in the hospital ward |
| Seasoned Pro | Grace or Leon | Defeat 300 enemies total |
| Not Today, Buds! | Leon | Defeat all 9 Plant 43 seedlings |
Collectible Challenges
These challenges are all about finding and interacting with specific items scattered throughout the game.
| Challenge | How to Complete |
|---|---|
| The Hunt Begins | Destroy your first Mr. Raccoon memorabilia |
| You Little Rascal! | Destroy all 25 Mr. Raccoon memorabilia |
| No Safe Is Safe | Open all 5 safe boxes in the main story |
| Crate Expectations | Open all 4 BSAA Containers in East Raccoon City |
| Case Closed | Read all 75 files in the main story |
The 5 safes are split between two locations. Three are located in the Care Center, and two more are in the ARK. Be careful here, because once you pass certain points of no return, you can't go back for the ones you missed. Always keep a manual backup save before you move on to a new area.

These are the hardest challenges in Resident Evil Requiem. They require you to play carefully, grind, or even plan across multiple playthroughs.
| Challenge | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Credit Where Credit Is Due | Earn 200,000 credits as Leon |
| Bloodlust | Collect 5,000 microsamples of infected blood |
| Never Touch the Stuff | Complete the story without using herbs or med injectors |
| Minimalist | Complete the story without Grace using the blood collector |
| Speed Demon | Complete the story in under 4 hours |

How to Complete All Challenges in Resident Evil Requiem
Of course, you won't get everything done in one run because this is a long game to beat. 50 challenges are a lot to do, plus you have to do it while also focusing on killing zombies and solving puzzles in the game. Here's how to complete the challenges efficiently:
- Always keep multiple manual save files at key points, especially before points of no return. The Care Center is the biggest one, since you lose access to it entirely once Grace leaves.
- Play your first run on Standard (Modern) mode to get a feel for the game, then go for Casual on your second run when grinding advanced challenges. The easier difficulty helps you move faster and survive longer without healing items. And you can learn the map and other things easily.
- Focus on collectibles early. Files, Mr. Raccoons, safes, and BSAA containers are the easiest to miss, and some of them lock you out permanently if you don't grab them in time.
- Save the Remarkable Agent run for last. Once you know every room, enemy placement, and puzzle solution by heart, Insanity becomes a lot more manageable.
With 50 challenges total in Resident Evil Requiem and massive CP rewards on the line, there's plenty of reason to push through everything the game has to offer. Start ticking them off one by one, before you know it, you'll have the Special Contents Store fully unlocked. Good luck! And while you are trying to complete everything, you can check more game information in our dedicated Resident Evil Requiem wiki.
