Safes in Resident Evil Requiem are some of the best sources of loot you will find early in the game. They hold everything from Antique Coins to Med Injectors, and key map items you will be glad to have. The passcodes to these safes are scattered across different areas, sometimes even far from the safe itself. All Safe Locations in Resident Evil Requiem
There are a total of five locked safes. Three are in Rhodes Hill’s Care Center, and two more show up later in the ARK laboratory, close to the end of the game. There is also a sixth safe in the Care Center’s Waiting Room, but it’s already been pried open by the time you get there. You will still want to grab the coins inside, though.
Yes, you can play as both characters in the game, but one important thing to know before you dive in: only Grace can open safes. Leon can’t interact with them at all. However, there’s one safe where Leon is the only one who can find the combination. So you will need to stay alert while playing as him.
Care Center Safe Locations in Resident Evil Requiem
Safe 1: Bar & Lounge (Second Floor, West Wing)
This is likely the first locked safe you’ll come across. It’s sitting behind the bar on the second floor of the Care Center’s West Wing. The room has three zombies in it, including a singer who can stun you, so clear them out before you start opening the safe.
The clue for this safe is in the nearby West Wing 2F Office, left out on a desk. Once you’ve got it, head back and spin the lock.

Safe 2: Examination Room (First Floor, East Wing)
You’ll spot this one pretty quickly. The safe box is sitting right next to a corpse in the operating theater on the first floor. You can’t miss it. The combination, though, takes a little more time to track down.
The clue file is found on the second floor of the East Wing, in the locker area just past the Lead Researcher’s Office. This is also the spot where you first run into the Chunk, the giant zombie that roam around and keeps on following you throughout all the hallways.
You’ll need to either deal with him or shake him off before you can safely grab the file.

Safe 3: Care Center Basement
This is the actually the trickiest safe in the whole game because the clue is missable. Grace cannot find the combination on her own. It’s only accessible while you’re playing as Leon at the Attic Storage.
When you’re in Leon’s segmen in the Attic, after the Chunk boss fight, look for a warped cabinet in the Attic Storage area. Use Leon’s Hatchet to pry it open and grab the file inside. If you skip it during Leon’s section, Grace won’t be able to go back for it, so don’t miss it.
The safe itself is in the Basement Inspection Chamber, north of Processing, near the forklift. You can reach it through a joint plug door near the furnace or through a crawlspace in the Workshop.

ARK Safe Locations in Resident Evil Requiem
You won’t see these safes until much later in the game. The ARK is a sprawling laboratory section with plenty of Lickers to deal with. The Lab Entrance acts as your home base here and it has a save point, plus an item box you’ll want to use regularly.
Safe 4: Sterilization Chamber
The Sterilization Chamber safe is sitting on a counter in the northeast corner of the room, right under the window overlooking Chemical Storage. The tricky part is that the room is full of Lickers, and these things are extremely sensitive to sound. Walk carefully and avoid stepping on broken glass, or you’ll have a very bad time.
The clue file comes later. You’ll find it in an open Umbrella-branded cargo container south of Bioweapon Repository 05. That means you’ll likely need to backtrack into the Licker-filled Sterilization Chamber after already pushing forward. Here is the exact location for the clue:

Safe 5: Monitor Control Room
The last safe is in the Monitor Control Room, sitting on a bench against the back wall near the door to the Archives. The room itself is pretty calm compared to the rest of the ARK, so you can take your time here.
The clue is again, inside a cargo container in Bioweapon Repository 05. But this time it is located in the northeastern one, which happens to be right at the intersection of two patrolling Lickers and also has a zombie inside it.
Use the container’s side switch to open it, deal with the enemies, and grab the file.

Resident Evil Requiem Safe Codes Guide
Once you’ve finished the main campaign, Insanity Mode unlocks as a new difficulty. This mode is way harder than the normal one, and all five safe combinations are completely different. The clue files are still in the same locations, so you won’t need to hunt them down from scratch.
