Best Units in Anime Saga Ranked
Zid
This is probably the best unit in Anime Saga right now, with insane damage that scales extremely well. Not only he is the best unit overall, he’s probably the best DPS in the entire game right now as well. If you’re lucky enough to get Zid, he should immediately become the cornerstone of your team. His damage output is unmatched and he can clear enemies with ease.
Remu
Nearly as good as Zid, Remu has great damage as well and has a great AoE area. She doesn’t have high cooldowns, which further makes her more fun and smooth to use. The mechanics are simple, and the only pain is that she is hard to get, but if you manage to pull her, she’s easily worth the grind. What makes Remu stand out is how well-rounded she is – no major weaknesses and excellent performance in nearly any situation.
Chainsaw (Denji)
Chainsaw has one of the best AoE damages. To further complement this, he has great scaling, which makes him worth investing in. He’s one of the best AoE DPS units for endgame. He does a lot of good damage and is currently one of the highest DPS characters in the game.
Zoru
Zoru in kinda broken at the moment. His moves can re-trigger, which makes him extremely strong, and on top of that, he scales extremely well compared to many other characters. He’s got decent CC on top of it all. His ability to re-trigger attacks gives him incredible burst potential, while his scaling ensures he remains relevant throughout longer fights.
Mochi (with bug)
Mochi is S-tier not because of his character itself, but because he has some sort of bug. One of his moves can spawn two little holes and start punching. What makes it strong is that you can swap during this time, and if you exploit this mechanic, he is probably the best unit in the game. Once this bug gets patched, he should probably fall to A tier.
Final Thoughts
The Anime Saga meta will continue to evolve as the game receives updates and new characters are added. This tier list is based on the current state of the game. The S-tier units are definitely worth grinding for, but don’t underestimate the power of some A-tier and B-tier characters in specific situations.
Remember that your playstyle matters too – a character might be technically S-tier but not fit how you like to play. Experiment with different combinations and find what works best for you!
