Lobster fishing is one of the newest additions to Fisch. This new mechanic lets you use special lobster cages that you can drop from utility boats. If you want to start catching these creatures, you need to know which cages to use and where to find them. In this guide, I will explain everything you need to know about how to use and where to find all Lobster Cages in Roblox Fisch.
All Lobster Cages and Their Stats
There are six different lobster cages in the game, each with their own stats and prices. The better cages give you higher luck percentages (increasing your chances of rare catches) and larger maximum weight capacities.

Where to Find Each Lobster Cage
Let’s look at each cage in more detail and exactly where you can find them.
- Old Cage: The Old Cage is the most basic option. You can find it right on the boardwalk at Lobster Shores, and it only costs 150C$. This cage is perfect for beginners since it’s cheap, but it only has a 30% luck rating and can only hold up to 500kg of lobster. You’ll mostly catch common, smaller lobsters with this cage.
- Rusted Cage: The Rusted Cage looks exactly how it sounds. To get this cage, you need to head to the red shack at Lobster Shores. You’ll need to have unlocked the medium utility boat to use it effectively. It costs 300C$, which is a reasonable upgrade price for double the luck and carrying capacity.
- Reinforced Cage: It offers a good bump in stats with 75% luck and can hold up to 7,500kg of lobster – a big jump from the Rusted Cage. You can find this one at Lobster Shores, standing beside the Chef NPC. At 600C$, it’s pricier but worth it if you’re getting serious about lobster fishing.
- Premium Cage: Despite its fancy name, the Premium Cage isn’t necessarily the best option. It has 100% luck and can hold up to 35,000 kg, but costs a hefty 1,000C$. You can get this cage at the same coordinates as the Old Cage (-552, 153, 2651).
- Obsidian Cage: The Obsidian Cage boasts 150% luck with a massive 90,000kg capacity. You’ll need to travel to the Second Sea to find this one. It’s located at Netter’s Haven next to the Utility Boat NPC. The price jumps significantly to 6,500E$, but the stats make it worthwhile for dedicated fishers.
- Cursed Cage: The Cursed Cage is the ultimate lobster-catching tool with an impressive 200% luck rating and can hold up to 500,000kg of lobster. This lets you catch the rarest and most valuable lobsters in the game. Getting this cage is a bit more complicated. You need to complete the Lobster Cultist quest at the Cursed Shores.
Lobster fishing adds another fun way to make money in Fisch. With six different cages to choose from, you can start small and work your way up to the impressive Cursed Cage. Each upgrade gives you better luck and larger capacity, letting you catch rarer and more valuable lobsters.
