Crystal Keys are now one of the most important things to get in the game, especially if you are already in the end-game level. This one opens up access to Crystal Defense, a new tower mode where you can earn Crystal Coins and get new items. If you want to know how to get Crystal Keys in Sailor Piece, here is your guide.
How to Get Crystal Keys in Sailor Piece
So, Crystal Keys only exist in Sea 2. To unlock Sea 2, you have to go to World Island and find the Sea Traveler NPC. He will give you a quest to collect Map Pieces and Ancient Fragments, which are hidden around the world. Once you bring them all back, Sea 2 opens up for you.
Any NPC in Sea 2 has a chance to drop a Crystal Key. However, some enemies give you a better drop rate than the others. The best spot to farm Crystal Keys is Punch Island. When you teleport there, head to the left side of the island and look for the Fast Ninja NPCs in the middle of the street. Defeat them again and again to get the Crystal Keys.
How Luck Affects Crystal Key Drops
Your Luck stat plays a big role in how often Crystal Keys drop. A higher Luck stat increases your chances of getting rare items from Sea 2 enemies. There are several ways to raise your Luck in Sailor Piece:

| Runes | Equip Luck runes for extra drop rate, like Fortune Rune or Radiant Rune. |

Switching to a Luck-focused build before you start farming is one of the best things you can do to speed up your progress. Even a small Luck increase adds up over hundreds of kills.
How to Use Crystal Keys in Sailor Piece
Once you have a Crystal Key in your inventory, head to Punch Island. You will find the Crystal Defense NPC there on the back side of the island. Talk to them and select Spawn to open the portal to the Crystal Defense game mode.
Crystal Defense is an infinite tower mode where waves of enemies attack a crystal in the center. Your job is to protect it. Every floor gets harder than the last. The further you go, the more Crystal Coins you earn, which you can spend at the merchant outside of the portal.
Because each failed run costs a key, it is a good idea to farm lots of Crystal Keys before you even start playing Crystal Defense.
