What Is the Moon Crest in Sailor Piece?
The Moon Crest is a rare drop item tied to the Moon Slayer boss. So, the only way to get it is by fighting the boss over and over until it drops. It has a very low drop rate, so be ready to grind. You need this item for two reasons: unlocking the Moon Slayer fighting style and crafting its powerful F move. Both are worth it, but getting there takes patience and a solid setup.
How to Get the Moon Crest in Sailor Piece
The Moon Slayer boss does not roam the map freely. You have to go to Boss Island and talk to the Boss Summoner NPC. This NPC lets you manually spawn the boss after you hand over the required materials:
- 1x Upper Seal
- 700,000 Money
- 700 Gems
Once you submit the materials, the boss spawns and the fight begins. Beat it, check your drops, and repeat. That is the entire loop for farming the Moon Crest.
Moon Crest Drop Rate
The Moon Crest has a 0.3% drop chance in Normal mode from the Moon Slayer boss. If you raise the boss difficulty, the drop rate improves even until 0.88%, but you will need more Upper Seals (dropped from Arena Fighters, mostly around Lawless Island, Ninja Island, or the Soul Dominion) each time you summon it.
Tips to Farm the Moon Crest Faster
The drop rate is painful, but there are ways to make the farming faster:
- Raise the difficulty whenever you spawn the boss. Greater difficulty means better drop rates for the Moon Crest.
- You want to kill the Moon Slayer boss as fast as possible, so try to upgrade your build from swords to fighting styles.
- Certain title and race combos in Sailor Piece can give you a solid luck boost, too. This will increase the drop rate of the item.

Once you have the Moon Crest, head to the right Moon Slayer NPC on Boss Island (on the back side of the island, standing on the rocks) to unlock the Moon Slayer fighting style.
