Raids dropped in Sailor Piece with their latest huge update, and now, they are one of the toughest things you have to complete in the game. You can team up with other players, throw yourself at the raid boss, and walk away with Raid Coins and some pretty rare drops if you are lucky. In this Sailor Piece Raid game mode guide, I will walk you through everything you need to learn to actually clear the raids properly.

How to Join Raids

The Raid Portal NPC is located on Blue Planet Island in Sea 2. If you haven't unlocked Sea 2 yet, that's the first thing to do. Once you're in Blue Planet, look slightly to the backside of the teleport point, and you will see the NPC standing there.

However, you can't just walk into the Raid. You actually need Raid Key to enter the game mode. To get these keys, defeat any NPC in Sea 2 that uses only fists during combat. These include enemies like Fast Ninjas (Punch Island) or the new Spirit Fighters (Blue Planet).

How to Start the Raid in Sailor Piece

Once you have your keys, here are the steps you need to follow:

  1. Travel to Sea 2 and go to Blue Planet Island.
  2. Walk up to the Raid Portal NPC and interact with him.
  3. Click the Spawn button and then wait for other players to join, or you can also go in solo.

Sailor Piece Raid Difficulty Breakdown

The first raid available in the game is called the Minotaur Raid. The Minotaur's HP scales by about 35% per extra player in the party, and it has four types of difficulty. Here's how each difficulty stacks up:

How to Beat the Raid in Sailor Piece

The fight has three parts you need to learn about while battling inside the Raid game mode in Sailor Piece:

Part 1: Early Fight

The Minotaur doesn't pull out any special attacks here. This is your best chance to dump damage, so unload your strongest cooldowns right away. Don't save anything for later because Part 2 hits way harder.

Part 2: Mid Game with Lever

Once the boss drops to around 50% HP, your damage stops working completely because the Minotaur now has a shield around it. There are going to be levers spawning around the arena, and you must pull all of them to break the shield.

Part 3: Stay at Range

After its shield breaks, the Minotaur starts using new attacks that can defeat you in one hit if you stay too close. This is where ranged skills become very useful. If your build only has melee attacks, you’ll need to dodge carefully and time your Invincibility Frames well to stay alive, especially on Hard or Extreme difficulty, where the Invincibility Frames are turned off.

The moment its shield breaks is also one of the best times to deal big damage. If you saved a strong ability or cooldown, use it here.

Currently, there is only one raid available in the game, but I am pretty sure they will add more in the future. For now, keep on practicing with the Minotaur Raid in Sailor Piece. Once you know the phases and have the team coordinated for levers, runs become pretty smooth. You will definitely be ready for more raids in the future.
