After a couple of Samsung Galaxy S24 FE rumors, Samsung quietly confirmed its existence recently. The folks at SamMobile spotted the phone listed with SM-S721B model number on Samsung’s European support site. Unsurprisingly, the listing is taken down and you won’t find it there. But hey, we know it’s coming to Europe. The listing didn’t spill much details, but we’ve got a pretty good idea about Samsung’s plans with the Galaxy S24 FE.

Release Date and Pricing
You might be impatiently waiting for the Galaxy S24 FE launch date, but there isn’t any buzz around the release date or pricing yet. Based on last year’s trend, we’re expecting the Galaxy S24 FE to drop in October, with pricing likely starting at $599.
Design and Display
If you’ve been holding out for the Galaxy S24 FE, you might be excited to hear that it’s rumored to have thinner bezels and a slightly bigger display: 6.65-inches compared to the S23 FE’s 6.4-inches. While we know that the device will sport an AMOLED display, there’s no word on the panel type in the S24 FE. But it’s unlikely of Samsung to step back from an AMOLED display.
Additionally, the device is expected to be 0.2mm thinner than the S23 FE, which measured 8.2mm. Giznext and reliable tipster OnLeaks gave us a glimpse of what Samsung’s next Fan Edition smartphone might look like.
Performance
Word on the street is that the S24 FE will either rock the Exynos 2400 or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, just like the Galaxy S24 and S24+. If you’re in the US or Canada, you’ll probably get the Snapdragon version, while the rest of the world might get the Exynos-laden variants.
This was first picked up from a Geekbench listing, which also showed the S24 FE with 8GB of RAM and Android 14. There are also whispers of a 12GB RAM option.
Camera
When it comes to cameras, don’t expect anything too wild. Samsung is likely sticking with the same triple camera setup as its predecessor (S23 FE), but there’s a rumor it’ll have an ISOCELL HP3 50MP main sensor. The rest? Well, we’ll have to wait and see.
Software and Features
The Geekbench benchmark showed the device running on Android 14, so it’ll most likely come with One UI 6.1 out of the box. The device is also expected to receive 7 years of major Android OS and security updates, just like the rest of the Galaxy S24 lineup.
As you’d expect, it’ll also be bundled with many Galaxy AI features like Circle to Search, Generative Edit, Chat Assist, Text Summarization, and more.
Battery
For years, Samsung has stuck with a 4,500 mAh battery for their FE series, and this time, we’re expecting the same capacity for the Galaxy S24 FE. However, we’d love to see a boost in battery life, especially since it’s expected to be the same size as the Galaxy S24 Plus, which comes with a 4,900 mAh battery.
Phones | Battery |
---|---|
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE | 4,500 mAh |
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE | 4,500 mAh |
Samsung Galaxy S24 FE | 4,500 mAh (Rumored) |
Colors
The S24 FE will come in five shades, but we’ll wait for the official launch to confirm the colors:
- Black
- Gray
- Light Blue
- Light Green
- Yellow
Should You Wait for the Galaxy S24 FE?
If you urgently need a phone, then holding on for Galaxy S24 FE might not be worth it. But if you can wait for a couple of months, you could snag a flagship-level phone aligning with Galaxy S24 lineup at an affordable price.
The Galaxy S23 FE won’t get a big enough upgrade to justify spending on the S24 FE – unless there’s a significant boost in camera performance.
On the flip side, whenever there’s a sale or a price drop, you might find the Galaxy S23 at the same price as the Galaxy S24 FE. That could be a much sweeter deal.
