Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, the company’s answer to the upcoming iPhone 17 Air is set to launch soon. It teased the phone at the Galaxy Unpacked event in January and also recently at the MWC (Mobile World Congress). A new report has revealed the price of the Samsung S25 Edge. And no, it isn’t as expensive as you think it will be since the reports claim that it will be cheaper than the S25 Ultra. Here is everything you need to know about the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge price.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Price Leaks; Will Cost Same As S25 Plus
A new leak by tipster IceUniverse has revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge price will be the same as the Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus. This means you can expect it to cost approximately $1000 for the base variant and $1200 for the 512GB variant.
This would be the retail price without factoring in any trade-in offers, deals, or discounts. Moreover, as a part of the initial offer, Samsung could offer an upgrade to the 512GB variant for the price of the 256GB model.

The tipster also asked his followers which phone they would choose between the S25 Edge and S25 Plus if the prices were similar. 53 percent of his followers voted for the S25 Plus while the remaining 47 percent opted for the S25 Edge hinting at a close call between the two phones.
He also revealed that the S25 Edge will weigh 162 grams and will be 5.84mm thick. For comparison, the S25 Plus is 7.3mm thick and weighs 190 grams. To maintain the slimness of the phone, Samsung will reportedly cut down the battery to 3,900mAh which is even smaller than the 4,000mAh battery on the base Galaxy S25.
IceUniverse also shared a render showcasing the front panel of the phone. Based on the render, he claims the screen will measure 6.656 inches with the same bezels as the S25 Ultra. This means you can expect narrower bezels compared to the S25 Plus.
The rest of the specifications include a 200-megapixel primary camera and a 12-megapixel ultrawide angle lens. It will be the only phone in the S25 lineup to miss out on a telephoto lens due to its thin nature. The S25 Edge will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite same as the rest of the phones in the S25 series.

We can certainly expect more details about the S25 Edge at the next Galaxy Unpacked event. It is likely to take place on April 16, 20,25 when Samsung could also unveil the Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 series. Apart from this, we can also expect details about the One UI 8 update as Samsung plans to skip One UI 7.1 in favor of it.
