With just a few days to go for Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event, there is plenty of hype surrounding the event. The South Korean giant will unveil the next generation of foldables apart from the new Galaxy Watch 8 series. We will also see a successor to last year’s Galaxy Watch Ultra. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming smartwatches.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Series Specifications
A new report, courtesy of Dealabs, has revealed the full specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 series. The entire Watch 8 series will use the Exynos W100 chipset and squircle design as previously leaked.
Furthermore, base storage of the Watch 8 will be 32 GB, while the Classic and Ultra will be doubled to 64GB. The base Watch 8 will be available in 40mm and 44mm sizes with a silicone band in Graphite and Silver colors.
On the other hand, the Watch 8 Classic will be available with a “Premium Hybrid Strap,” and the Watch Ultra (2025) will get an “Extreme Sport Bracelet”. This means you can expect a band that is a mix of silicone and leather on the Classic while the Ultra will have the same band as last year.
Another interesting thing is that the Watch 8 Classic won’t have LTE as standard, unlike the Watch Ultra. The Watch 8 Classic will go on sale in Black and White colors.
Comparatively, the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) will have a wide range of colors on offer. It will be available in Titanium Blue, Grey Titanium, and Silver Titanium. Moreover, the Ultra (2025) will be the only watch to offer an 86 dB emergency siren, just like last year’s Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Price and Availability
The reports also mention the leaked pricing of the Watch 8 series in France. Although the report notes that the price may vary in the rest of Europe, meaning international pricing can be different.

Compared to the Watch 7 series, there’s a €50-60 increase for the Watch 8 and 8 Classic. However, the Ultra (2025) will have the same price as last year. This is in line with previous rumors of the pricing for the Watch 8 series.
The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on July 9, 2025. However, the Watch 8 series is likely to go on sale from July 23, 2025.
The South Korean giant will also unveil the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 at the event. Moreover, we can also expect a glimpse of Samsung’s Moohan VR headset and the company’s first tri-fold.
