  • This edge-to-edge design will make it more in line with the Xiaomi Mix Flip and the Razr 50 Ultra.

Samsung, the South Korean giant, is working on its next set of flagship phones. Apart from the much-awaited Galaxy S25 Edge, the company will reveal the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 at the Galaxy Unpacked event in April 2025. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 has been previously rumoured to pack the largest cover screen on a flip-style phone, and a new leak has seemingly confirmed it. Here is everything you need to know about the Z Flip 7 leak.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Case Leak Reveals Bigger Cover Screen

A new leak courtesy of tipster IceUniverse shows the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 in all its glory. These renders showcase the upcoming Z Flip 7 in colorful cases from multiple angles.

The images confirm that the phone will have a bigger cover screen that will take the first half of the body. Its new 4-inch cover screen is a major upgrade over the 3.6-inch one on the Z Flip 6. This design seems inspired by other flip phones like the Xiaomi Mix Flip and the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra.

For the unaware, the Z Flip 6 had a weird folder-style cutout around the camera module, but now the Z Flip 7 ditches this for an all-screen design. It will also have a much bigger inner screen at 6.8 inches compared to the 6.7-inch screen of its predecessor.

This new design looks visually pleasing to the eye, although the camera optics are still stuck at a 50-megapixel primary and a 12-megapixel ultrawide-angle lens. IceUniverse also shared real-life images of cases and screen protectors for the Z Flip 7.

These images clearly show the larger screen of the foldable phone apart from the bumps for the volume and power buttons. Furthermore, the bezels on the outer screen are also less prominent than the Z Flip 6.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 will be the first flip phone to use the new Snapdragon 8 Elite with 12GB of RAM. It will ship with the latest One UI 7 and offer up to 512GB of storage. The starting price is likely to remain the same as last year at $1299, and you can expect 7 years of OS updates.
