Samsung’s Internet web browser has received the beta update 27.0.0.26 which adds some new features, improves upon security, and removes some old settings. The size of the beta update is around 127MB and will be available for all users from Galaxy Store app soon.
With this update, Samsung brings a new search feature for the Internet app browser settings. You can search in browser’s settings directly without opening it. That’s useful for changing the browser behavior or preferences without launching the Samsung Internet web browser.

To simplify and declutter the menu, that update seems fine intially. But at a closer look, you’ll discover that you can no longer edit scroll bar’s position from left to right or hide it entirely. That was a nifty feature for those who wanted a seameless view, especially the left-handed users. The only hope is that Samsung makes this optional and lets us enable or disable it.
The new Samsung Internet update improves security with End-to-end encryption (E2EE) of Internet synced data. The only downside is that the feature only works on Samsung phones with One UI 6.1 or higher.
To check for the update, open Galaxy Store app on your Samsung phone and go to Menu > Updates.
